Okay-ish. The animation is dated as hell (especially those early-CGI webslinging backgrounds), but the long-form storytelling allowed for some pretty cool arcs.

This is the best spider man series I have seen by far. As this had story continuity in them. Really strong bad guys as well. As with all popular shows this got cancelled mainly do to the toy production companies not making enough toys or money to keep this show still going.

Nostalgia and love of the character are the only reason it rates this high. Its shallow and has nearly none of the wit and action the comic series did.

A series I enjoyed a lot as a kid. I think still holds up fairly well too.

This show is hilarious in how spastic its editing is. I have never seen any production rush through so many big plot beats the way this show does within 7 minutes and it can be damn off-putting. On the other hand, the storylines this show has are so outlandish and cheesy that I can't help but love it; especially when its plot beats weirdly land sometimes. I'm not sure if I'd call good from episode to episode but it's zany enough that I'd never call it boring.

Even though Spidey is apparently supposed to be a douchy nerd, this is the Spidey I grew up with:a stand-up witty guy who does quite well with the ladies and who's internal conversations are well worth the watch. It's not at all polished art-wise,but I remember it to be one of the few 90s animated series in which it was easy to empathize with the main character. The Madame Web parts are psychedelic as hell.Granted, last watched it when 15,but I still think it deserves the credits I'm giving it here.

[Distant] Really tame -even for Saturday morning tv- but I remember the animation looked really good -and true to the comic- at the time.

This was one of my absolute favorite shows as a kid. My brother and I had all the action figures and would watch whenever it was on. It holds up over time and Spider-Man has always been on my list of the coolest Marvel characters. Such a great show.

Completely forgot that this was a cartoon watching staple back in the mid-90's for me, but seeing it in 2022 with my kids the theme music brought it all rushing back. This version of Peter Parker is too buff looking/confident, and the early CG cityscape backgrounds are something to behold.
