Timeless

It's incredibly silly, but the leads are all charming enough that there are worse ways to pass the time.

Timeless has a cliché ridden time travel plot stuffed with conspiracies, fighting an ominous organisation, character romances, dead/ erased family and character romances. The way in which they apply a modern lens to historical events can also be a little preachy at time. However, past all that, the show is actually a fun watch, simply because of the cast and their chemistry.

A crying shame that this series was cancelled. The premise is so much fun that not even the less-than-stellar performances and effects can tarnish it. In fact, they almost add to the old-school campiness of the series as a whole.

I think the fanbase was a little over-enthusiastic about this show, but regardless, it's still a fun time travel show that got cut short much too soon. I like a lot of the main actors in this show, as well as the time periods they visit, and I would have loved to have been able to see more.

Amusing enough at the moment, will watch more and report back.

Effective as an indictment of American cinema, in that said cinema must be positively moribund if an actress as talented and attractive as Abigail Spencer is spending multiple years of her life in a boneheaded SLIDERS rehash.
