Glenn Tryon is at his Bachelor's Dinner, attended only by a dozen of his girl friends, prior to marrying Connie Watts but Ma Watts has plans for Connie to marry playboy Billy Bevan, who is unaware of Ma's intentions, as is Blondie who has plans of her own regarding Billy. The laughs here are only slightly less scarce than the chicken in the boarding house chicken-and-dumplings in "True Grit."

Wealthy playboy Grant Van Gore means to have his way with his beautiful maid, the innocent Hattie Lou. The Pennypackers are a family of social climbers. Their daughter is about to be married solely to get ahead in the world. There is another potential marriage in their household, as their housemaid has been proposed to by many of the other servants. Everything changes when the off-looking Lucky Luke Larson enters their lives. Making his wealth in oil, he is purportedly the son of the Pennypacker's now deceased former business partner, whose last wish was for his son and their daughter to be wed.

Ralph Graves and Martin Loback are a streetcar team who hit the high spots one night (the highest spot being dancer Natalie Delys (Natalie Kingston) "who shook a wicked eyebrow". Despite an extremely poor seduction technique ("Hey, girlie, you're great"), Graves starts two-timing his girlfriend Marion (Alice Day) and spending money he cannot afford.

The couple are forced to sleep apart,The beds are rock hard, the food is inedible,and the farmhouse leaks in the middle of a fierce rainstorm. On top of everything else, a hick uncle with a large family pay a sudden visit.

Friends Billy Trotter and Homer Brown are both traveling salesmen who meet up at a hotel on their travels. Since they last saw each other, Billy has gotten married. Homer is lamenting still being single and thinks that he will never find a woman who will want to be Mrs. Brown. Billy gets one of his old girlfriends, Peggy, a telephone operator, reluctantly to set Homer up with one of her friends.

While somewhat happily married, Walter Moore's eyes do stray from time to time, especially when Tessie McNab is within his eye-sight range. But while trying to just be helpful to a damsel-in-distress, Walter's jealous wife suspects there may be some hanky-panky involved.

Gus and Slim are working at a circus that is owned by the domineering Steve Skinner. After Gus and Slim have botched up several routines, Gus takes off in a horse cart, in order to avoid Skinner's wrath. But the cart is pulling a large crate filled with lions, and soon the two circus hands find themselves in the middle of an uncontrollable situation.

TECHNO-CRAZY has to be one of the strangest comedy shorts of the 1930's. Starring Monte Collins as a young man who dreams of technological progress in society bringing a "technocracy" that's a utopia and Billy Bevan as the Mayor, whose daughter Collins wants to marry, the short begins with a dream sequence where Collins is running a factory on his own and explaining to someone how no one needs to work in this new utopia and everything operates automatically.

Dave Finkel's family and friends take him out to a Speakeasy for a birthday celebration. Many distractions prevent him from enjoying his meal, including a seductive Jean Harlow who tries to pick him up.

A dancing instructor goes to a married woman's home to give her lessons while her husband is absent. He leaves and goes to a poker game. The husband is one of the players, and the instructor, not knowing who he is, shows her picture around the table. This prompts a round-table discussion in which none of the standard rules for civility are part of the discussion.

Laurel is a Scottish reporter suspected of being a spy by police detective James Finlayson. Although trailed by the latter, Stan, who is reporting on the movie world, manages to be hired by Mack Sennett. He makes his debut in Nevada, in the middle of gold diggers. After managing to clear his name he becomes, with Oliver Hardy, a big comedy star.

Motorboat Mamas is a silent comedy short.

Billy treats his marriage vows lightly, and his wife suspects him. Nieghbor Vernon is murderously jealous. Billy sends his wife some silk pajamas to mollify her, but they're sent to Mrs. Dent by mistake. Billy innocently trying to be helpful is almost caught in the wrong apartment, but a card that accompanied the silkies will fall into the wrong hands.

A rare example of a short with the Silent female comic, who was compared to Chaplin, here as a rural milkmaid who gets mixed up with various problems including a bootlegger.

Billy takes a trip to the the zoo with his wife and two sons. He is proud to show his knowledge about wild animals to his older son, who is preparing for an exam. The whole family starts by looking at the zebras before watching the leopard tamer. Then Billy gets doused by an elephant while his younger boy plays with monkeys in their cage. But Billy's misadventures are not over yet, for one of his sons has thrown his wife's handbag into the lions cage.

Andy Wilson (Andy Clyde), a millionaire pig farmer from Kansas, comes to Chicago (unless New York has a stock yard district)looking for his girl friend, Natalie (Dorothy Christy) who had left the Sunflower state as she did not care much for the company of pigs and/or pig handlers, although Andy wasn't rich when she left, else she would have most likely been a bit more tolerant. Andy runs into his old friend Jake (Billy Bevan), who has been married for about a year to another belle from Kansas.
