Review: Jack Black IS this movie! And in this movie he is allowed to take all the room and just go wild -- and it works! The emotional part is obvious -- but it also works, and is never unecessarily stupid. Black sells the rock and roll-attitude, and is great as a rock teacher for the kids. I still use the "give me a platform to rock on"-greeting with my wife!

Review: Childish and unnecessarily violent. It's not funny to kick a head around. I doesn't shock me, it's just not funny, there is no comedy there. And I dislike the whole drug-lifestile-set up, I feel dirty and want to go running. And the whole apocalypse-story is just idiotic. The only funny thing is that Michael Cera plays himself as an a**hole, doing a lot of coke and being obnoxious to everybody. The jokes are not funny, e.g. back and forth for several minutes about semen. Avoid.

Review: The whole is corny and very predictable ("here we have the good-looking love interest" etc.) , but there are several good jokes, enough to keep the interest. I liked the "a ca ..."-jokes, like "listen up, a ca-people", and of course the "a ca-scuse me?" - "a ca-believe it!" back and forth. I think Rebel Wilson tries too hard sometimes, but she is funny. Corny and funny, just the way I like it!
