Though it ended up outstaying its welcome even at the not-particularly-crazy run of just five seasons (by the end of which the budget was down and it looked CHEAP), at its best Chuck was a funny, playful, witty, pop-culture-infused and just plain massively likable take on superhero formula, with great chemistry between Zach Levi and Yvonne Strahovski. Season 2's climactic arc and season finale was some of my favorite TV of 2009.

Simply one of the best action comedy series ever to have been created. I can't wait for them to make the eventual movie, which surely will happen at some point.

Chuck is cheesy fun, plain and simple. Its strengths were the chemistry between the cast, the revolving door of guest actors, and the soundtrack. It does repeat its premise almost each season, but the variations are done in a nod-and-wink style, and overall it’s a good mix of comedy and drama. The finale while slightly open, is a fitting conclusion to the series.

S1: 80, S2: 82, S3: 90, S4: 80, S5: 75

1 Great Season, 1 Good season, and the rest ranged from mediocre to bad.

Not great, but insanely watchable. (3 seasons)

Although the final two seasons are a bit of a wash, the first three are exceptional.

Watched up to S04E12 - dropped. Really fun at the beginning, but jumps the shark quite quickly.
