May be the first purely fantast BM episode? There are a few interesting ideas in here, but not a ton. Instead, this is still a good episode not for its writing, but because it's just a fun ride with interesting characters and a great setting. The ending was a lot of fun.

Charlie Brooker And co do a hammer house of horrors tribute episode.

As a creative, I admire Charlie Brooker's gumption to just say "fuck it" and use that Netflix money to do whatever the hell he wanted for the 6th season of the show that used to be Black Mirror, but as a fan of the show that used to be Black Mirror, there's basically nothing left of the show that I once really loved. At any rate, the story is nothing special, and everything is so straightforward that you can fill out the whole plot in your head in less time than it takes to watch the episode.

I can't tell whether or not the ending fits with the overall tone. Also, not sure what it has to do with technology. Still one of the better episodes this season. An interesting concept, that was well-shot, and had some good characters and a nice helping of dark humor.

An average idea and above-average execution.

After a terrible run of episodes at least this series concludes with something half decent. Aside from the cracking soundtrack, it’s the humour that really helps here. Okay, so that – and the general northernness of it all – does mean it feels more like an episode of Inside No. 9, but perhaps that’s why it works. The lack of distracting big name actors helps too, with Essiedu the pick of the bunch.

Going against the grain to say this was my favorite of season 6, and honestly Brooker should ditch BM in favor of openly supernatural "Red Mirror" moving forward. Vasan & Essiedu are fantastic.

This and the previous episode are both revenge fantasies of a kind, with no science fictional, technological or futuristic component – perhaps the filmmakers have run out of ideas. This one is at least slightly amusing.
