Nonsensical behaviour from all characters, but it makes sense once you look up who wrote this. Even less surprising is the acting from a bunch of nobodies, which is atrocious. The monsters and the disgusting gore are the only things keeping this borefest afloat. If you are into disembowelled and mutilated bodies, this is the show for you.

The first season was somehow bearable, the second started off as total nonsense.

God this show is so fire. Not a perfect 100 because there are scenes where basic logic is ignored, decisions are made by characters who would know better. Aside from those scenes, the majority of the show is a trip to watch. The mystery just keeps getting better

Honestly just can't get this show out of my head. Loving the mystery of it. Regardless of any flaws it's a top 10 all time for me.

A potentially fun premise, as a Lost vs Walking Dead clone, perishes into a hopeless orgy of bafflingly stupid character decisions, character behavior (99% of the interactions results in a nonsensical conflict), sub-soap opera melodrama, sadistically slow drip feeding of any material just to feed online discourse. This show can be dissected as an example how to make the wrong choice in every scene. It’s so frustrating it had me screaming at the tv in sincere anger. These creators are imbeciles

Interesting concept...but man, some characters are annoying as hell. Especially in Season 2

Decent horror premise that quickly turns into a soap opera with mostly unlikeable characters. I could only get through a few episodes, and i hear the whole show is mostly a soap opera and full of mystery boxes that don't get explained.

writing is below average and feels like no good (undeveloped chars, unnatural and counterintuitive reactions, not catchy story development) making it B-rate filler series at best. personally i decided not to watch after 3 episodes, feels like not catchy enough.

The concept of the show is good. The first two seasons he keeps in suspense, but then it all rolls away. It can be seen that the creators of From had the original idea, but they failed to develop it interestingly.

Very good show, not a 100 only because the behavior of the characters may not make a lot of sense always, but it is a really well executed show with interesting characters and a great premise, specially the first two season, hopefully the 4th season will he better than the third.

Great premise and a flair for conceiving intriguing mysteries and is good at showing its characters' desperation. The problem is that after 3 seasons, the show opens 10 new mysteries for each one that it solves. Makes one feel like like the showrunners are leading one around in circles. The dialogues are mostly terrible too ("It's okay, you're okay" times a million). Acting ranges from great (Scott McCord) to grating (Eion Bailey). I'll reluctantly watch season 4 when it releases.

Season 2 - Elgin character - why would they not reveal what he knows so far into the show? This is the reason I simply cannot tolerate or watch television series like this. There is no point retaining a characters mystery over such a massive life altering situation. It does not compute in my head. Possibly just bother reason I absolutely loathe the series Lost, who share the same creators as From.

This was fun, but I skipped through 90% of the daytime dialogue. I imagine it would be otherwise excruciating.

It features an intriguing premise and a reasonable first season. But from the second season it completely loses focus, with lazy writing, without creativity, logic or coherence, in addition to giving the clear impression of not knowing how to solve the mysteries created.

This occasionally intriguing Lost-clone is dragged down by too many bad acting performances from the annoying side characters and truly awful CGI. And like Lost it feels thar each successive twist is tacked on last minute, but unlike Lost there's no real character development. It's hard to really care for almost anyone, because they continue to make nonsensical hare-brained decision for no rhyme or reason. The broad stroke ideas are pretty great, but the execution is frustratingly inadequate.

İkinci sezon başlamış iken, Dodo'mun önerisi ile 1.sezonu izledim, ilgi ile.. Güncelleme : 2024'de #IzlediğimFilmler ; 265. From Sezon 3 From 3.sezon müthiş başladı ve olağanüstü bitti bence. 9/10

I like the idea, but it is very clear that this show is desperately trying to be the next Lost, with a much smaller budget, and less thought out ideas. It's still entertaining, and I'd love to see if it goes anywhere, but I was frankly surprised it even got renewed for the second season. Hopefully they'll do something cool with it and end it properly before getting canceled, but I have a feeling it will just end without resolving anything.

I'm a bit wary of shows like Lost as there's a good chance the producers have no idea where they're going. But S1 of From is worth checking out

Its hit or miss with the acting, and feels a bit repetitive, but am hanging on because its a pretty creepy idea and setup. I want to see where it's going (or if it has anywhere to go). Edit - second season lowers the score. It really treads water in providing well thought out insight. If its renewed its 50/50 if I watch the third.
