Absolutely great premise for a show. I always felt it was a little overproduced and had the feel of a bad morning radio show. But the underlying mythbusting was cool enough to make me see past that.

Would be better if it was half as long and didn't have the second group of less entertaining people doing less interesting experiments.

I'm not really a fan of the cheesy jokes or interactions between the stars of the show, but I absolutely love their experimentation. I'm not really a science or tech guy, but seeing them experiment to prove/disprove everyday things such as the toaster in the bathtub theory or Chinese water torture is pretty enjoyable.

Very entertaining with its blend of loose science and stunts, but has gone on too long and made the dreadful mistake of getting rid of most of the cast, who were often more entertaining that the leads.

Good in it's time, doesn't hold up well. It was a perfect YouTube, short-format show that simply was ahead of it's time. On rewatching, the simple premesis are drawn out to fill the runtime with tiresome forced antics and apparently fake friendships, with the tired old build-ups that reality shows use before any explosion or incident with 20 camera angles and a minute of tense music. The ideas are good, the execution is lacking.

This was THE SHIT when I was a kid, and I still love watching clips of it now. Stellar, stellar way to show science to the general public to answer those weird rabbit hole questions that are etched into our brains that literally don't matter in any normal real life situation.

Mostly this show was glorious. There were a few times they had to flashforward/cut corners on experiments' scientific precision, sacrificed to the mirthless gods of TV production, but overall they did a great job - shockingly good for cable TV.

Probably the most perfect combination of science, pop-culture, fun, and interesting hosts. I think this show may have single-handedly been worth the price of cable in the 2000's.

Good when it focused on busting myths instead of constantly just blowing things up for the hell of it.

70 points if they hadn't the need to always blow things up even when it has nothing to do with the myth being tested.

Great premise and the hosts add a lot to it. Got a bit weaker when they started running out of myths, though. Let's hope they end it with a bang (not meant literally, though I'm sure there'll be plenty).

Does anyone really need to read a review for Mythbusters? Always chirpy and entertaining. The science is a bit soft sometimes, but you'll probably learn a ton of interesting things along the way. It's always a good way to kill an hour.

[Random episodes] Interesting way to learn something and test some myths. It's not exactly something you feel you need to watch everything but never bores to watch a new episode from time to time.

Often enjoyable, with a likeable cast. Elephants really are afraid of mice.
