It had no right to be that bland given the people involved. A monumental failure of american comedy TV.

Despite a promising start "Space Force" runs out of steam too soon. Carell is of course excellent and inherently likeable, Malkovich was a perfect casting choice, and good episodes and even better moments are far from absent. What prevails though is a sense of uncertainty regarding the show's direction as it shakily tries to juggle satire and farce with grounded workplace comedy while giving too much screen time to a bunch of underdeveloped supporting characters and their uninteresting subplots.

Eh, this one was disappointing. It's average, some jokes fall painfully flat (and oddly seemingly forced into a PC perspective). The cast is nice and there are a few bright spot episodes, but for the most part it's just forgettable.

Reminds me a lot of Veep, except without the laughs.

After a season, Space Force has settled into a comfortable dramedy in realm of Stargate SG1 meets Veep. The political allusions are very on-the-nose, but mildly amusing. The silly humour is quite good, as are the relationship aspects. Molkovich & Carrell have some great scenes together. Yang & Newsome have potential. Schwartz is grating. Overall it's an enjoyable series, of which I'd happily watch more.

There were some absolutely hilarious episodes. Then there were the rest of them. With the star power of Malkovich and Steve Carrell, you'd think that the series would be a bit more consistent, but it was sort of all over the place. I only finished it because of how short the entire series was. The second season ended on a cliffhanger, and they cancelled the show, which pretty much sums up how I feel about the series. If you want to watch military programming, subscribe to VetTV.

Greg Daniels + Steve Carrell should be a great combination, but the tonal issues of Space Force make its initial season fail to launch in the way I expected. Still, there's some promise shown here, and because making fun of the Trump administration's sixth branch is always allowed, I'll likely stick around for a second season.

Toothless military/political satire and a dramedy lacking drama or comedy, pfft.

Its a funny show. So far i dont see it as anything too ground breaking but its got its moments and i kept watching and thats all you can really hope for with a series. I dont see this as something i would recommend watching necessarily though

A quirky dramady about space exploration is an odd choice. It works neither as a drama or a comedy, but oddly enough I still enjoyed it.

Such a good cast, but it was rarely funny. Had a lot of amusing, grin-at-the-screen moments, but very few laughs.

No, it's not another "The Office" but that's okay. John Malkovich is incredible in his role, and even outshines Steve Carell imo, but Steve is great too. It's not as laugh out loud funny as it probably should be, but there are some pretty good moments throughout and I look forward to the next season. The ending certainly took things in an interesting direction and I look forward to seeing where that goes.

On the surface it lookes like a sci-fi comedy... in reality it's more like a sitcom and most of the characters aren't even involved in science at all, most of them have some kind of administrative work in the show and they have a bad opinion about the few actual scientists. Sadly I don't feel at all that the show handles its own topic well.

Improved as it went on. Has potential for a second season.

I like it a lot. It's refreshing to see both the military and scientists portrayed sympathetically and working together, but still not by ignoring their respective flaws. I had a good laugh at least once per episode, and I enjoyed the well-developed cast of characters.

For every funny episode, three aren't. Comedy needs to be either absurd or grounded, but this was somewhere in the middle most of the time, which doesn't work. The open relationship B-plot came out of nowhere but I loved it.
