After the first 6 episodes of teen angst, drama and whining, the show finds its footing as a solid post-apocalyptic tale that deals with prejudice, survival and actual science fiction. The series isn't afraid to kill of characters, both liked and disliked. Just beware the moronic shippers who down-rate the show whenever a character they like dies. The older adults are often more childish than the younger ones, and each season builds upon the last while introducing a new problem to be dealt with.

I first rated this series 73, but after watching season 2, this score went up. I have to admit that this series entertains and pleases me as no other series has done in this genre, mostly because main characters can die and because of some of the atypical choices. It's refreshing.

Gets very repetitive and drags its feet a bit to often but worth the watch if you like post apocalyptic survival stories mix with a splash of sci-fi. Last 2 seasons was not my cup of tea though

Watched the first season, wasn't too impressed, dropped out. Suddenly, after season 2, all the online TV critics are saying it basically became an equally epic, twisty and violent Game of Thrones for tweens. Hmm. Will go back and watch season 2 and re-rate when it hits Netflix.

gets boring after some seasons

This is actually a rewatch. This is my favorite show. i can't even quite explain it myself but it enchanted me. 99 for bad script 1st season. Script gets better and better from 2nd season on. Sci Fi-human's internal conflict-dystopia, the creation of wars, the cost of peace. of love.

While it has many… oh so many flaws, The 100 somehow always finds new ways to keep you interested by completely reimagining the stakes. Incredible worldbuilding with a satisfying explanation to everything at the end (not the best ending but at least it's something). Characters are really idiotic and take the worst decisions, but that's drama for you. Worth watching all 100 episodes even though it kinda peaks in season 2.

There was something interesting about the early seasons despite the performance is being kind of meh. The later seasons are offensively bad. The ending is atrocious.

Yes this show isn't for everyone it does have a lot of unnecessary teen drama. But the overall plot is one I couldn't get enough of. Seasons 1-3 are the best with Season 3 being my favorite. If you like post-apocalyptic action mixed with romance this show is for you.

The good: "world-building," which usually counts for very little with me, is very effective here. The classical ethical themes also add interest although they're well exhausted by season 3. The makeup! Persistent wounds that slowly heal over time! The bad: Of course the characters, dialogue, plot and camerawork are all pretty asinine.

I love this idea, and this series does some really cool stuff too. The last couple seasons, unfortunately, are not as good as they changed the setting and went a bit too ridiculous in some ways, but it stayed entertaining throughout.

The intensity builds with each new season. There are an incredible number of twists and turns that have occurred as it wraps up with Season 7. That which was terrific far outweighs anything that was bad. Overall it has been violent, engaging and incredibly captivating. The image of Eliza Taylor is indelibly etched into my brain now, as are many of the family of characters that have wormed their way into my heart. Overall, it is highly recommended, but not for the faint of heart.

It's got its highs and lows, some cheesiness especially towards the end, uneven writing which steadily declines as the show progresses. Basically suffers from being an US American show, but also has its fine moments, great action, occasional good drama.. Last two seasons were a bit of an unnecessary crap, but all in all it is binge-worthy and not a complete waste of time if you're a sucker for post-apocalyptic sci-fi. And yeah, silly ending.

some seasons are not so good, but I loved the first two.

Spoiled ideas, unstable characters, twisted logics... it seems that the writers didn't care about overall credibility of any item as long as it served the pre-defined storyline. The only parts I liked were the costume and the set-up.

Season One, Season Two, Season Three, watched so far.

What can I say, script is totally terrible. There are so much obvious scenes/twists/ results, that you`ll be bored after few series. But, it worth watching only for lesbian romance line and for 3d season. Despite this only kiss between 2 female leaders, the rest of series are filled with boring hetero-romance/sex scenes. Even behavior of those teens after "landing" is less ridiculos than romance. but if u'd like to see nice post-apocalyptic landscapes - here they are, welcome
