Norm Macdonald is a serial killer. Do not marry this charlatan, he will kill you and your family.

It's not perfect by any means but I think this captures Norm's comedic essence better than anything he's done to date (seriously tho if you for some reason haven't checked out Norm Macdonld Live do it ASAP since it's Norm at his funniest). Still tho you should probably just go seem him live. I saw him do almost three hours last year and he destroyed from wall to wall.

It's old man Norm and, with hindsight, it's a little sad to understand what he was going through. He's still really funny but his energy is low as is the crowd's.

A good showcase of Norm's style, which kept the same for decades on end, but was always truly original and would usually catch you off-guard. He works well integrating some pathos in with his gags about Hitler's dog and auto-erotic asphyxiation, and I appreciate how this gets straight into the jokes and laughs and ends the same way.

Norm's delivery is one of the best deliveries in all of stand-up. *kisses fingertips*

just rating this on the way to the rickety stool store. tbh this is pretty patchy and choppy material-wise and there's only so much his peerless delivery can do to elevate it, but w/e i love norm 4eva.

I have to boost my score because I just keep rewatching this damn thing. I don't know if I've rewatched any stand up special as much as this one, maybe some Carlin's and Hedberg's but that's it. Sometimes you just miss Norm and want more of him, all the time, right in your eyes and ears

Not the best unfortunately. Partly because I had heard a few of the jokes when he did them in Letterman's waning days on air, and partly because it didn't feel like the crowd was totally into it (they might have just been mic'd poorly). Still, Norm is a unique voice and has the uncanny ability to make me laugh with random aspects of jokes just by the way he says it.

Norm stand-up is so much better when Conan is beside him.

I've seen/heard like all this material on Norm bootlegs of different shows with this same set (or similar), and done way better. But obvs. Norm on an "off" night is as good or better than like +98% of other comics at their best.

Seen: 2. Ah, Norm. There are some misses here, but a decent chunk of this is quintessential. The best way to experience Norm is to go down the Youtube rabbit hole, but this isn't too far behind.
