Poster looks like he’s biting into a giant diseased penis.

Gervais might be the closest living mantle bearer for Carlin in the sense that both men’s material serve the truth indifferent to wether it suits the ideology of their audiences. It’s well presented and not infantile blurting “from the mouth of babes”.

Gervais is a god amongst men... and I mean that in the most atheist way possible.

Ricky being Ricky! I don't think there's something that he's done that I didn't like.

İlk yarı 40, ikinci yarı 80. İlk yarıda büyük hayal kırıklığına uğradım. Açıkçası komik olmadığı gibi bana göre kara mizah adı altında yutturulmayacak cinsten aptallıklar vardı. After Life'da ve bu şovun ikinci yarısında gördüğümüz insandan farklı biriydi sanki.

Gervais's return to stand-up finds the gifted comedian on top form as he tackles topical issues such as political correctness and social media with wit and hard-hitting humour. It's always a joy to watch him perform, even when he's only narrating a real-life (?) story instead of delivering a more demanding joke. He's at his best though when he's reflecting on comedy itself - and, of course, when he's fiercely tearing apart the non-scientific opinions of religious fanatics.

He has lost his spark and now comes off as a man who is trying to be funny by telling you some really heinous stuff. Pass

A little weaker at the bookends of the performance but possibly the strongest of his stand ups once he’s in his stride. Probably the most honest and personal of his shows too: he looks more comfortable on stage here than ever before (all that Golden Globes practice must have helped). He puts forward some great points and covers a variety of subjects, and manages to make all of them funny - even when he’s just (a tad lazily) recounting his old jokes and twitter retorts.

gervais'in stand-up gösterileri yarattığı diğer işlerin aksine hep kötüydü, ama bu puanlama, bu gösteri sebebiyle aldığı saçma tepkiyle ilişkili değil.

More of the same smug schtick. Prosaic. Forgettable.
