(Reviewed at season 3, episode 9.) Hilariously stupid politics in the vein of Sorkin but amazingly even less thoughtful somehow. Kind of like Succession for idiots. A great hate watch with solid performances that gets better and better. Billy Crudup rules in it but anytime they get into current events, the takes are like freebasing MSNBC. Apple agitpropular. Admission: I like looking at fancy buildings and pretty people.

A snappy and luxuriously produced pilot is followed by a middling and predictable snoozefest with mostly Yeah-girl!-bait. I understand the mission to create a lasting, complex female tv character in the footsteps of Tony & Don but writing them be hysterical all. the. fucking. time. is not gonna cut it. Depth comes from the occasional burst into tears. It's an anti-feminist view of women as overly emotional and ranty. Witherspoon is unbearable as often and Anniston inspires only hormonally.

Actually a surprisingly effective work drama. I had little interest in the subject matter, and am not a big fan of Aniston's but wanted to check it out since I had a free month and they had very few shows at launch. Aniston isn't bad, and Witherspoon, Crudup and Duplass add some chops, so the overall cast is pretty good. I don't know if it has any longevity but so far the first season is worth a quick binge.

The first season was excellent, second was good too, but struggling to get through the third. The unnecessary blurring of the characters faces like bad Instagram filters is so distracting.

Pilot just meh, but after that seasons 1 and 2 were the most pleasant surprises I’ve had in TV in quite a while. Shame about S3. S1: 95, S2: 92, S3: 70

A very well written show. The acting is superb. Although in the second season it takes too many dramatic turns, it still grips you really well. It is solid film making and a good show. And seeing it all become real this year.. Well, life is stranger than fiction.

Every character is unlikeable, which would be fine if I thought the writers were aware of it. Somehow, I suspect the writers think these people are awesome. They're not, and I've done (as of season 3, episode 2).

Everyone does a fine job but no one gives this much of a shit about a morning show.

Really surprised by this. I really enjoy the characters and the performances, which is especially interesting since most of the recognizable names come from a comedy/comedic background. (Season 1) Cory Ellison is such a fun character, I couldn't get enough. The story lines aren't great and often feel too cute, but the characters keep me coming back.

I have mixed feelings. On one hand, the performances are really superb, especially Aniston's and Crudup's, but on the other hand the stories are not particularly good and engaging.

It's good workplace drama, the actors play their parts well, the topics covered are daring for their time and dealt with in a respectful way, but I just can't deal with this show's pacing. I enjoyed the show's idea, not at all its execution. Gave up after the first episode of season 2, which had the same stretched script issues as every s1 episode.

This show surprised me. I didn't really know what to expect from it, as the concept didn't sound all that interesting at its core, but the acting, writing, and directing were all done so well, it kept me drawn in the whole time. Can't wait for season 2!

(Spoilers maybe) A surprisingly deep exploration of what led to #MeToo and the real issues behind it. Imagine my surprise at the last 10 minutes of season 1 when it turned into woke Twitter out of nowhere.
