Didn't quite stick the landing but I liked the format and the first story was pretty sick. I feel like the whole surrogate angle is becoming overplayed with this series.

Intriguing, chilling and pretty messed up. It almost feels like an amalgamation of narrative concepts that wouldn't quite sustain a full episode isn't quite as thought-provoking as some other episodes and is just downright brutal throughout. Can't say I wasn't entertained though,

The anecdotes are great, the pay-off is yet another rehash of that same idea found throughout the series. In general season 4 has been more of an excuse to explore social injustice or genres, less of a true examination of sci-fi concepts. I will always prefer sci-fi, but this season is much better than the dreadful third season. I will live.

My favorite of the fourth series, it's fairly brutal and mean-spirited but that ending is fun.

Thus was a pretty good little mini-anthology.

Douglas Hodge was nail in a coffin choice for the main role.

Amusing if absurd. Outstays its welcome a little.

Every series of Black Mirror has a standout episode, and this is it for no. 4. Essentially a collection of Karl Pilkington-inspired mini stories, it's a fun and engrossing 70 minutes with good performances and ideas that get your brain firing. Yes it trawls up concepts explored (many times) in previous Black Mirrors, but the whole series has been guilty of that - and after quite a bland run thankfully this finale at least feels worth your time.

Definitely has echoes of some other episodes and it feels a little torture porny at times. That said, it was effective, the structure was great, and it covered a ton of ground without feeling rushed. Overall a really great episode and just edges USS Callister as my favorite of the season.

It's relying a bit too much on being sadistic predominantly for the sake of being so for my taste.
