Pretty cool to see it but nothing remarkable. Would've liked to have seen a Kubrick interview in there somewhere. I mean, interviewing Danny Lloyd but not Kubrick? Come on.

Interesting behind the scenes stuff. It's particularly fun to watch Kubrick at work, as we rarely get to see him do what he does. He really seemed to be pissed at Shelly Duvall a lot.

Behind the scenes footage like this is always a treat, especially for such a big film, but other than glimpses at the styles of each of the principles it's not particularly revelatory.

It's not the Shining, but watching Kubrick work, and seeing a behind the scenes look at a much, much younger Jack Nicholson and Shelley Duvall was pretty fucking awesome. God, it seemed as if Kubrick fucking hated Duvall.

Vivian Kubrick at least got close, seeing some on board direction by Stanley makes this worth a watch. Scatman's bizarre show of emotion to a relatively simple question is another a highlight. Fucking actors.

Great footage of, among other things, Nicholson keeping himself psyched up between takes.

An interesting glimpse into Kubrick's working methods at his most methodical. Worth it if you're a fan.

Nice to see a 'behind the scenes' that scraps the usual pat-on-the-back self-gloating to cast the film-maker in not such a bright light. For it's short time-length, why not see it?

Some interesting looks at the cast and crew at work (I like how Nicholson was getting himself hyped up for the door-axing scene) but there's not enough, and its short running time is padded with a few long clips from the film.

More of a collection of behind the scenes footage (which is great) rather than a documentary (for which it lacks any sort of message or narrative).

As a documentary, this more or less sucks. This is pretty much an EPK - cast interviews that don't shed a lot of light on the production, as well as clips from the movie that of course we've all seen. However, what makes this movie special is that, aside from the Full Metal Jacket clips in the "Stanley Kubrick's Boxes" doc, this is the only meaningful onset footage we have of Kubrick. Not "good" by any means, but who cares - we get to watch the Great Master at work.

A nice behind-the-scenes peek. If only it were longer.

Parts of this are interesting, as a you-are-there moment before some of the intense scenes. But there's a lot of mumbling, and there's really too much of the movie split in. Best moment: the crew, about to film the sequence in the maze, are themselves wrestling with a labyrinth of hallways to the various sets.
