The characters interact with the ecosystem with too much ease, which didn't feel plausible. Great premise though.

Extremely creative and visually fascinating but becomes dark, creepy, and tedious after a while.

A stunning display of sci-fi, with probably the most in depth dive into alien landscapes, flora and fauna that I have ever seen. The ideas of how a foreign world's ecosystems work, with all pieces of the puzzle in their places is amazing. The fact that it won't be getting a second season, is testament to how monumentally insipid we are.

It is not an overstatement that this studio has created a fully living world with this masterpiece about resourcefulness, ecology, and spirit. Eons of evolution are manifested here from the minds of these artists, and the human characters cast down onto that planet are just as well realized. This series is gripping from beginning to end, and the concepts and animation are a pinnacle of the craft.

Excellent but you should probably not watch it as it was cancelled. Which is a hell of a shame.

I liked it. The alien landscape is a little bit single-note underneath all the odd rules, and there is a lot of space in the narrative for you to ruminate on… something. Nature sure do be crazy, and we sure do be a minor speck in the infinite.

This is my first brush with a speculative biology show (I'm not counting jurassic park and such) and it completely stole my heart. I love it very dearly with all its character work being done kindly, not judging the characters for reacting harshly to harsh situations. What I love the most is the creatures and the music the show adds to them, it's perfect. Can't wait for this to be a trend. Selected the date randomly, I probably watched it around that time.

The ending is worth it, but the Rube Goldbergian bio-machinations can be tiresome (i GET IT, things work together). It's just Rick & Morty S3E5, but over 10 episodes (and wayyyyyyyy better).

Inspired animation with some creative, mycological logic to the alien world.

Ingenious animation, atmosphere, action and character direction. Inspiring sound world. The world created was top notch and well achieved. And there was no war or gunfights, nor annoying nature theme.

This feels like the comics series Aldebaran by Léo meets Miyazaki ... in a wild corner of the galaxy. I was going to use the adjective dark, but the world is so colorfull, it doesn't fit. It also made me ponder how much my judging a story as dark relies on subjective perception of morality. Anyway, great music, great drawings, and a story that makes you stop and think. What more can you ask for ?

I waited to write this review, because i dont want to affected by my feelings. Best thing i have watched lately. settings and creature designs are so beautiful, it tooks you 80 - 90's sci fi and video games. Soundtrack is also very suited and nice. absolute perfection. as a sci fi fan, this is one of the best visual content i have watched. I made me remind of outcast and sacrifice video games from early 2000s. Strongly suggested.

This is one of those shows that absolutely fascinates you with the depth and creativity of its sci-fi elements. The only complaint I can scrounge up is that the characters seem like they’re constantly going from one bad thing to another. There’s never really a rest period for the characters.

It's like Studio Ghibli for adults, with a lot of violence and fun.

Draws a lot of its "imagination" from the comics series Aldebaran by Leo. Some appealing characters, some story arcs more developed than others. The ending feels rushed and it would have benefited from a couple more episodes.

Maybe the most unique thing I've watched all year.
