Shitty American remake of La Femme Nikita.

Pretty close remake of an "all right" movie... didn't care for what they did with the character of "The Cleaner" though.

Slicked up remake doesn't have the performances or the passion of the original.

One of my all time favorites!! Bad-ass female assassin!!

Bridget Fonda actually made me believe she could be an assassin, and that is an accomplishment in itself. Also, Harvey Keitel is just awesome in his scene in this film.

Another crappy "how hard it is to be super-me" film.

From what I remember, this one was worth seeing. Not great, but entertaining.

I know the original is better, but this is the one I saw first. Watch La Femme Nikita if you want something that feels a little more real. Watch this one if you want a great Hollywood action blast of a movie.

_La Femme Nikita_ wasn't good, either, but it was way better than this. For all the names in the supporting cast, this is pretty damn dull... and Bridget, who looks so sexy in the poster, is a total charisma-free zone. If it wasn't for her last name she'd never be allowed anywhere near a camera

Thus began my brief (but intense) love affair with Bridget Fonda.

The original kills this lame American remake.

Brings nothing new to the original story by Luc Besson. In fact it is scene by scene remake, except in the last act there are added action scenes and fake drama.

I loved this flick when I was younger--probably because I liked Bridget Fonda so much. Upon watching it again last night, I've come to realize just how stupid this movie was.

Decent action flick. Remake of Femme Nikita, Fonda does a good job with a cheesy script.

The original french version is better.

Inferior American remake of La Femme Nikita.

This movie is a very good and underrated remake. Bridget Fonda is great in the lead role, this movie would not work without her performance. Gabriel Byrne also puts in a good performance in this movie.

Extremely weak remake of La Femme Nikita. A cameo from Harvey Keitel is cute, but Bridget Fonda is definitely not Nikita. But the casting isn't all that weakens the film; the Hollywoodized script is painful to watch unfold. Watch the original instead.

not a huge fan of nikita to begin with...this remake doesn't stray far from the original at all. it's damn near identical in fact. just subtract besson's eye for action scenes. fonda did well though, and byrne put in a good performance as well so they held my interest at the very least.

A good remake of Luc Besson's La femme Nikita.

Saw this drunk and on, of all channels, the TV Guide Network...complete with commercials, censoring, TVGN logo and super huge/obnoxious Countdown to Big Brother After Dark (????) chyron. Not the ideal way to see a movie for the first time. And no, I haven't seen Nikita, yet. I'm sure it's muuuuuch better, as pretty much every bad review seems obliged to mention. But 'eff it. I haven't seen Nikita, I've only seen this. Maybe it was the booze, but this was fun! Lighten up everyone.

Embarrassingly name-drops Nina Simone more than once in a cringing effort to win some cool cachet. It doesn't work, which pains me to say, because I LOVE Bridget Fonda. Watch the original, which is great.
