This is decent enough. My big positives are Gad and Hart themselves. I feel for the character of Gad's character more than I'd usually do for this kind of character, and I love Kevin Hart, so it's a nice duo that carries this otherwise pretty average movie. It's not particularly funny or clever, but it manages to be entertaining enough that I actually wanted to see it through. As a one off film, I think there is enough here to make it a good one time watch.

Alright, I give it 35 out of a 100. But that actually isn't that bad! I'm glad they went with someone different then, let's say, Vince Vaughn. I found this to be more acceptable. Hart actually is good, but the jokes aren't funny and it is just not my type of movie. But if you want to relax, drink a couple of beers with your pals, and have a good time, I am sure this will do. 35/100.

Kevin Hart is the king of bad movies but this is surprisingly not too awful. Hart seems like he's trying to do the motormouth Eddie Murphy black comedian thing most of the time. Hart's version of this schtick is pretty good though. Gad is hit or miss but the dance scene with Hart and him is fun. The pack of losers recruited to be groomsmen are amusing too. This has its moments and it's at least better than most of the comedy detritus coming out these days.

All those crappy, cringey moments from the horrible trailer are in there. But amidst the mediocrity lurk some genuine laughs and a surprising depth of character. It's no hidden gem, but it's far from the bomb you might anticipate. Kevin Hart and Josh Gad make for a surprisingly appealing team, too.

Kevin Hart is one of the funniest men working today and this furthers that idea. Hart and Gad compliment each other well and deliver line after line of hilarity. However, it falters in the third act when it switches to a serious tone and raises questions about soul mates. I really disliked Kaley Cuoco in this film, not because her character was meant to be a drag but mainly because she can't deliver lines with anything but a whiny voice. She brought down the fun, over the top spirit.

The Wedding Ringer is a solid comedy with good acting and there's chemistry between Hart and Gad. The football scene was good the last line of the film is literal gold.

Neat concept. Fun enough setup after setup of gags. Unbelievable pairing of Josh Gad and Kaley Cuoco. Milquetoast love interest. Fun cast of friends. Fav scene: the unprepared best man speech complete with theatrical ripping up of the speech.

Not good, but cute. Actually watchable, even.

An overall mildly amusing comedy, with just a few scenes delivering big laughs. Kaley Cuoco though, she should stick to that crappy bazinga show.

I definitely have a man-crush on Josh Gad, and Kevin Hart's ability to shift characters throughout the film was impressive. However, the plot left a bit to be desired. I would have preferred the sister (Olivia Thirlby) get more screen time and had her role fleshed out more. There are quite a few ways they could have taken that. Also, the "twist" (if you want to call it that) was fairly obvious from quite early in the film. Overall, though, still enjoyable.

This is just a bland, nothing movie and it wasn't worth finishing.

Really fun wedding conspiracy. Lots of laughs, couple "oh shit!" Moments... Looking at you grandma. Kevin Hart has become something of a guilty pleasure lately and the groom... Whatever his name is, delivers some great nuanced comedy. I feel the writing could have been better but the two comedic leads save this from falling victim to that. Rated R for a reason.

For how much i hated that one standup of harts i attempted to watch i do enjoy watching him in movies. Not that there was much else to enjoy in this by the numbers comedy. Oh the colourful hired "groomsmen"...They were a funny bunch given good individual personalities and them resorting to their party tricks when caught in lies was one of my favorite parts.

Kevin Hart is the only bright spot in this unfunny attempt at a Sandler movie. Just go watch Hitch instead.

Tür alanına komedi etiketini yazmayı hak etmiş diyebilirim. İzlediğim onlarca komedi olmayı ümit eden film arasından bakıyorum gayet yeterli.

Normally I find Hart very funny, but this usual comedy with a twist of seriousness, falls short with an underdeveloped story and poor supporting characters. I had a few laughs though. *Okay

I was ready to shit all over this movie until about 30 minutes into it when it becomes extremely hilarious. I would have no reason to like this movie, so believe me when I say that the movie did one of the biggest turnarounds I've ever witnessed to become an entertaining experience. It starts off quite generic and grating, but then somewhere along the running time it gets really weird and becomes nothing it started off as.

What really rankles about this crude, loud, dorky sub-sitcom turd is how carefree it is in its unoriginality. It's lazy and it sucks, and it KNOWS it's lazy and it sucks, and it DOESN'T CARE. Fans of Hart and Cuoco should pretend this movie doesn't exist; fans of Gad should stop being fans of Gad as soon as possible.

Hart delights in this tale of debauchery and deceit. Yes, it's predictable. Yes, most of the supporting cast are mediocre. Yes, a lot of the scenes are contrived and some of the comedy misses its mark. But Hart and Gad have chemistry dammit, and The Wedding Ringer leaves you with a smile on your face.

Uneven, but thankfully The Wedding Ringer (2015) has got it's share of legit laughs, which is all one can expect from a standard mainstream comedy these days.

The first 2/3 of this is one of the funniest movies I've seen in a good while. But then it turns serious and then turns flat and falls apart trying to finish it off.

If you were to measure this movie's worth on a thoroughly modern comedy tally sheet, it would be easy to see that it has some assets. Leads Kevin Hart and Josh Gad are funny guys with gifts for rapid-fire line delivery and the ability to land a full-body pratfall. And the pic even manages to supplement their shtick with a few thoughtful statements about men's need for friendship and the immeasurable value of finding a true soul mate for your marital match. The Wedding Ringer is a perfectly serviceable piece of comedic entertainment. It'll pass the time well enough if you're looking for a new R-rated comedy to go see. Is it worth the theatrical price of admission? Probably not, but you're not likely to feel bored if you see it. Kevin Hart and Josh Gad work really well together, and if it does a lot of money, I wouldn't be surprised -- or even very disappointed -- if a sequel is made. The Wedding Ringer is decent enough.
