If there's one thing this movie proves it's that Argento loves sex scenes and gore. Good scary and gory moments even if you knew exactly where the story was going in the first five minutes, it was interesting to see the ride there.

This one has a weird and crazy premise and it ended up being quite a bit of fun. The film was too long and would've been better as a 30 minute short film, speaking of which it would've been perfect as an episode of Tales From The Crypt. From the opening scene you know how this will end but it really doesn't matter since it's such a fun watch.

This girl's so ugly, her parents only gave her one 'n' for her name. Ba dum dum. But seriously, folks. You could have given Nick Nolte in 48 Hours black eyes and it would have been the scariest movie ever. But what I don't get is, why are these guys compelled to take her out into the open to kill her, when they could just slice her up in the comfort and safety of their own homes?

"...creepy, sexy, disgusting, and darkly funny all at once. In other words, it's Dario Argento doing his thing."

Brilliant comic story by Bruce Jones, art by Berni Wrightson. Terrible adaptation by Dario Argento. Slow and predictible. Lots of nudity though.

Jenifer is Dario Argento's offering to MoH and it's not completely awful. Weber's good as Frank, as was Fleming as Jenifer (limited role as it is). The story, co-written by Weber, is a little different but senseless (stupid?) at times. (Masters of Horror S01E04)

A semi-interesting, entirely predictable film that follows a very unbelievable format.

jenifer is a movie with few tricks, and those few tricks soon become threadbare from over use. deformed sex and overeating on human intestines can be entertaining, i'll give argento that, but after the fifth time i was ready to say I GET IT ALREADY, SHOW ME SOMETHING NEW. the ending, while satisfying, was contrived and predictable.

One of the weaker Masters of Horror episodes: predictable, wooden, and boring. Even though it was only an hour long, too much time seemed wasted. I will say one thing, though, the acting was slightly better than is found in Argento's full length features.

This may be the most straightforward film Dario Argento has ever made, and is better than most of the other entries in the Masters of Horror series.

Egads. Now *this* is a horror story. Much more unsettling and transgressive than I expected. Probably Argento's best work in a decade or more. I must say I don't find *too* much of the plot hard to swallow, as cops are not the smartest birds on the planet

Top badass moment? Seeing the tragic consequences of not using a good quality lippy when you're young. Kind-hearted Jenifer tries to make friends with a neighbour's daughter and help a family cat lose some weight, but unfortunately gets a bit carried away doing both. We also discover how crap mental health services in America really are. On a more positive note, it made me go on YouTube to revisit The Monks 1979 hit “Nice Legs Shame About Her Face”. 1 cat, no chainsaws or decapitations.

I liked the premise and the trajectory of the plot, but its execution was flawed with lapses in logic, a main character you don't care for (is Weber a poor man's James Woods?), repetition, and the most unbelievably awkward sex scenes I've ever witnessed. Overall: disappointed.

Some aspects could be improved but at least it's engaging, it has some mystery, make up and effects are fine and it has cringy moments. The way the story advances is a bit weird at times but it's not such a big deal, but it could have being great if the screenplay was a bit better.

Ridiculous! Pure gore-horror cheese with plotholes the size of planets. It's predictable, formulaic and feels like it was written by a 14 year old boy. That said it's Dario motherfuckin' Argento. Fun stuff.
