One of my favorite guilty pleasure shows (which was, ironically, launched into super-popularity via people protesting it). Loved its over-the-top, farcical tone and intentionally two-dimensional characters. The perfect antithesis to the sugary-sweet family sitcoms of the time. Al Bundy rules!

Hands down my all time favorite tv show The original too hot for tv family (in my opinion) I could relate to the dysfunctional family Best episode; The Camping Show I'd love to see this show get a reboot

Never loved it or anything (I doubt I've even seen a quarter of its 262 episodes), but on the occasions I would watch it I definitely respected its more dark, cynical, and miserable (but in a funny way!) take on 80s family sitcom formula. A good sitcom, a superb retort to The Cosby Show.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy ahead of it's time. Watched all 11 seasons back to back recently and it still holds up. This is the original dysfunctional family sitcom that spawned numerous copy cats (especially the blatant knock off "Unhappily Ever After") A must watch that produced an iconic character in Al Bundy.

The epitome of political incorrectness, the bizarro world version of family bliss. If you pitch this at a network now, you will give 3 executives heart attacks. After a while, it gets old, particularly when they try too hard, but yet here and there there are such comedy gems that it is worth watching. Christina Applegate is another timeless beauty by the way; the crown jewel of trashiness. Bearse's depraved fantasies of the prim middle-class lady are my favorite parts.

One of the first really mean spirited comedies of the new era, it had its charm but went on way way too long.

Its humor was often lowbrow, but for a family that should have been utterly contemptible, they were quite endearing. It shines in middle and later seasons, but falls off by the end, as shows often do.

There are three possible worlds in the afterlife, depending on which of the three Great Leaders one sided with through their lives: Heaven, for the followers of Jesus; Hell, for followers of the Antichrist; and The Limbo, for the followers of Al Bundy.

Brilliant and wry cult classic.

Tried to be really offensive but it wasn't, just standard sitcom. This would never be allowed to air today due to the rampant obesity in America (67% overweight) as this show constantly attacked fatties, it's only redeeming quality. The legend of Al Bundy is greater than what he actually was.

A lovingly misanthropic and brilliantly funny subversion of the tropes of the stereotypical American sitcom.

Back when being allowed to stay up late at weekends was a treat, my father used to watch this, don't remember either of us laughing. Tried to watch one a couple of years back and it was awful.

Not good at all but at least it tried to be offensive.

It can be really funny when it's dark, but usually it just seems like it was written by 13-year-old boys.

Very good show. I just liked the dad who worked at the shoe store. Most notable for his touch down and poke eye high school academy. They actually stuck with that story line through out the show.

Some of the content hasn't aged too well, but as a product of its time, it was very funny.

Low-brow and quite repetitive persona comedy, Married with Children is nevertheless the best of its kind. You want to slap yourself for laughing at some of these jokes.

A dry/cynical comedy about a typical American man who wants nothing more than a chance to relax on his sofa infront of his TV after his crappy 9 to 5 job lets him off for the day.

Just not very engaging or challenging of a series.
