Lackluster cartoon for kids clearly made to cash in on the dinosaur craze surrounding Jurassic Park. Well, it ain't no Jurassic Park. It's not even Carnosaur.

Nostalgia 101.

I remember it being a lot better as a kid. Still, it has it good moments and quite a catchy musical scene. Always weird seeing two children in a love relationship. Not recommended to small children, scary scenes.

In an interview, John Malkovich said that this was something that could've been art, but was ruined by bureaucracy and the bottom line. And man, I can *feel* that. There are hints at a really interesting engagement with wonder and terror as two sides of one coin, and a scene near the end that's stuck in the mind of everyone who ever watched this; but it has a broken structure, undeveloped and annoying characters, and a startlingly odd and unfortunate idea of morality. Justice for Screweyes!

You don't need much of a plot to get some anthro dinosaurs for kids to stare at in this weak movie, do you? You sure don't.

A very good film that would pave the way for what companies such as Pixar would try an accomplish in their family movies.

Giving this a decent score out of nostalgia.

So many animated movies were made in the 90s, and unless they were made by Disney, they likely don't hold up anymore. This movie is one of the best examples. It's terrible.

Always creeped me out as a kid

This is pretty terrible, to be perfectly honest. Its only real saving grace is the bizarre death by crows scene that the villain gets, which is simply inexplicable and completely off from the tone of the rest of the movie.

I vaguely remember this film from my childhood, and the memories are kinda retarded. Not the sort of Dinosaurs I'd want to watch a film about. Still, it's dinosaurs, and that's kinda cool if you're 7, so this movie would still have a niche today.

I feel very nostalgic when thinking of this film. It was probably terrible, but from what I remember it was great.

Pretty shrill and abrasive movie that was not up to the standard of its contemporaries in the animation field.

There's nothing that works in this movie! Bad story, bad characters, bad music...ugh. I guess the animation is nice, and some of the voice work is good, but that's about it. The worst part is that I remember liking it as a kid! But some things just don't hold up...

I loved this when I was a kid. Can't remember anything from it though, but I have the Gameboy game! So hardcore

I would've hated this as a kid. The part where the dinosaurs are all violent and cool in Satan's rad carnival is treated as a bad thing.

Most of the points this movie earns from me comes from nostalgia. Overall it's a fairly moving, not entirely touching story, but also has a lot of sweet moments. Good for kids, ok for me.
