This is basically Sex and the City for fratboys.

Tune in for such stories as "Will Vince get to have a four-way with three supermodels, or will he fail and only get a threesome with two of them?", or "Which luxury sports car will Vince casually buy with a small fraction of his money?" or "Will Vince be billed first or second in this major Hollywood film?" or "Will Vince make $20 million or, in a heartbreaking tragic episode ending, only $8 million?!" Truly gripping, relatable stuff.

All of the points are for Piven, who is energetic and talented. The rest of this show is literally nothing more than douchebaggery at its highest mark. It is so cringey at times it is painful.

The sort of people who enjoy this kind of shit should be castrated. No exceptions, no mercy. Has literally no redeeming qualities whatsoever.

It's tough to hate on the first 3 or 4 seasons. It's just a fun show. Tons of cameos and funny characters initially. It then morphs into like a parody of itself and every episode becomes the exact same thing: Vince gets in trouble, one of his friends tries to eradicate the problem, cliffhanger ending that may or may not go anywhere.

Early seasons were great. Series slowly went downhill. I'd say that Jeremy Piven is the highlight of the series, and without him the antics of the boys just aren't that interesting.

Aaah, I still don’t get how they filmed this, it’s so genuine and fun. I always thought of it as a boys show in my first 2 walkthroughs. The third we watched with my wife and she loved it more than me. Their relationships with each other is so beautiful.. What a show..

This show is the equivalent of what every former frat boy whose rich parents bought their way into college think their life either is or one day will be. It is the most shallow, vapid, and uninspired series to come out of HBO but I will guarantee it had a solid viewer-base for its entire run because of how almost unbelievably pandering it is to the aforementioned audience.

It's very easy to burn through the series in a few days. Light and enjoyable fun. (watched a few years ago)

good series

The first 2 or 3 seasons might've been excusable (although my memories from that period aren't all that reliable as a source of analysis) but the fading veneer of self-criticism reveals a pretty much all-out reprehensible core. Shameful shit or just irredeemably dumb and misjudged, take your pick. Deserves a lower score but as a teenage knucklehead I found some elements of this funny. Not particularly proud of that but just trying to keep it real.

A show that starts out as funny, light, and self-aware gets overly ridiculous and becomes the male version of Sex and the City, a materalistic circus of self-centered male yentas

This has to be the most easily digestible TV ever made. It is far from amazing, but solid entertainment.

Remember in the late 2000's when every fucking guy you knew was watching this and then as soon as it ended everyone was like "actually it was shit the entire time"?
