When you have the main characters involved in a life-or-death chase sequence where they both ride Captain-Pike-from-TOS-blinky-light-chairs at dizzying speeds of 5 mph inside an obvious factory hall that's supposed to be some engine room inside a spaceship which your brain immediately refuses to accept because it still somehow clings to life after at least 75 minutes of exposure to the shittiness on display, then you know you have to write shorter sentences for your minireviews. Both of Space Mutiny's directors have disowned this movie and blame the other for its incompetence. That's pretty much all you need to know.

Horrible, horrible, horrible movie. The acting, the costumes, the sets, the props, the camerawork, the plot, the writing, oh my god.

Hilariously incompetent and stupid, and thus makes great fodder for riffing, whether via MST3K or with friends.

Extremely 80's, stupid, silly music, awesomely shitty costumes and.. Santa? The MST3K version is hilarious and pure gold. She's a maaaniac, maaaniac on the floor

One of the best MST3K episodes out there. I was kinda impressed with how many shots were just laugh out loud funny without the riffs.

Flight Commander Kalgan stages a mutiny in an attempt to force the starship "Southern Sun" into the Pirate Zone, and it's up to hotshot pilot Dave and the Captain's daughter (who looks at least 40) to defeat the terrorists and save the day. Pretty basic low budget sci-fi/space adventure flick with some decent model ships and lots of corny laser gun shootouts and explosions. I watched the non-MST3K version.

Generic low-budget 80's sci-fi space schlock. Full of all the hallmarks of a terrible movie, so much so the movie is most famous for being featured on "Mystery Science Theater 3000". Only recommended to fans of bad movies.

The ultimate in campy stupid sci-fi. No intentional parody could be as funny as this.

Atrocious, it's just so delightfully awful. This is beyond it's-so-awful-it's-good. A must watch.

But I did find the Bolerians (or whatever they were called) cool--and kinda eerie...

One of my favorite MST3K films.

This is a silly, stupid movie very enjoyable because it's so bad.
