Cute, cheesy and colorful - it is suffering from the usual writing issue of not putting a half decent vilain to give the heroes a run for their money. Wolf pack nails it though 🐺

This appeared to be a really basic, lowest common denominator kids movie. And it kinda is. But it's also pretty decent. The story's nothing special, but it works well enough. Some of the characters are pretty stock standard, but the voice work is really good, so you can forgive it. The animation's nice enough, too. It was pretty funny on occasion (though also occasionally painfully unfunny), and even quite sweet in the end. Largely forgettable, but entertaining enough while it lasted.

Storks is a mixed bag. The animation and voice acting is really good. The theme of family is well-executed, even if a little clunky at times. The primary storyline is fine, though for adults it may require substantial suspension of belief. It's the subplots in which the film leaves its mark. The wolves are hilarious, the pigeon obnoxious, but it's the family scenes that approach Pixar levels of emotional manipulation that are really memorable. Unfortunately, overall the film is left uneven.

This wasn't actually the piece of bird crap I thought it would be. It's very rushed and at times has some uneven writing, but it's still witty in it's own way and I found myself laughing quite a bit. It's probably aimed more for kids, but I still laughed. No idea what that says about me... Good voice acting as well. I'd say it's a good diversion, as there are better animated movies out there, but it really is a good time.

Storks could've been a whole lot worse - as most who saw the first teaser trailer will likely understand. But as an adventure movie about a stork, a human, and a baby, it basically does the job. It has some laughs, it contains enough action, most of the vocal work is strong, the animation is more than fine, and while it won't offer much intellectually, it's also not going to insult your intelligence. Storks is silly, generic, and passable.

Storks was a fun movie. Katie Crown is the voice of Tulip, the last delivery that the storks made before calling it quits. She is funny and cute. The rest of the voice cast is great too. Andy Samberg is especially funny. This movie was made around him being the main character. The family of realtors who is of course led by Ty Burrell is cute. Jennifer Aniston always seems forgettable in these kinds of animated roles. She is always good but it's never something I point to as definitively her.

A very funny crowd-pleaser. The only down-side is the unnecessary sexism that features in near enough every US kids' movie.

Is it trite and contrived in more than one place? Yes. Was I still a blubbering mess by the end of it? Absolutely.

There were things in this film that I actually rather liked, like the (brief) LGBTQ representation in a kid's film, that silent fight scene near the end with the penguins, and literally any scene when the wolves were present, but there were plenty more that I didn't: Sexist gender roles, an uninteresting villain, and most of all, the weak story that was clearly designed just to link together as many cliché and unoriginal family film jokes and gags as possible. Passable film, but nothing more.

Sweet and witty animated film may have an overall familiar story arc, but compensates through its clever (and very funny) screenplay, and superb voice cast who help bring life to its quirky characters, most notably Key and Peele's hilarious Wolfpack. Crown and Samberg are a perfect team of protagonists, and while the film lacks the sophistication of the Pixar masterpieces, it's final moral of the value of family is a tough sentiment to dislike.

I was really pleasantly surprised how _good_ this film was! (The only reason this isn’t a 10/10 for me is because of the bit with the wolves and that discount-Dwight-pigeon who is just a shitty antagonist) The soundtrack is just mad lit.

This is the perfect family movie. Enough jokes for parents to enjoy, not too much scary stuff for the kids, and a direct, easy-to-follow plot.

I'm not sure how important it really is for the created world in a kids movie such as this to make any logical sense? Less important than most films I guess, but it's worth noting that this world made no sense, and it bugged me more than it should have done. Other than that, its bright and colourful, with a slightly oddball delivery that works well enough, and a solid voice cast. The kids enjoyed it so that's a plus .

Seems I liked it more than most. Great voice acting, cool witty off-beat dialogue à la Lego Movie and it's just refreshingly creative here and there. It loses me when it starts to delve into the clichés and family film conventions towards the end (the big villain fight scene seemed a bit excessive and dragged a tad), but I actually enjoyed this. It's not as fun as the Lego Movies but Warner Bros' spin on family movies are really up and coming it seems. Good fun for all here.

Watched at work. Nothing crazy. Just a cute little movie. Hope Stoller goes back to what he was doing before.

As an adult I always like to be brought back to a nostalgic feeling and a lot of times that is brought back by animated films. This was not one of those films. It has some great actors involved but it was too annoying with dialogue. Pixar has bright colors with a deeper concept that has an emotional impact on adults. Nothing of the sort was even remotely present here and that hurt what could have been a much better executed concept.

A surprisingly original movie which produced plenty of genuine laughter and delivers a family-friendly message about family. I agree with other reviewers that the main storyline is a little odd and there is an overall unevenness where it should have been a sweeping story arc. Nevertheless the humour is excellent, the voice acting is terrific and for family fare it produces the goods. Thoroughly enjoyable.

It's a very fluffy film but it doesn't stink it up. At worst you'll laugh a bit (the "silent penguin" fight got me bad) and then you'll forget about it. There's not much else stands out here. Voice cast is great but Andy Samberg essentially does his character from Brooklyn Nine-nine

In the era of adorable animation Storks (2016) might me the most adorable yet! Even the evil wolves were cute! That's why liked Pigeon Toady the best.... "How You Like Me Now?"

But make no mistake: There is a worldview being delivered in that scene right along with those cute and cuddly babies. And even though it's very much in sync with where mainstream culture is at these days, that message remains decidedly at odds with a biblical understanding of family as God designed it. Animated fare for children has, in recent decades, always striven to include adult level tidbits in order to get them to bring their kiddies to the show. Storks may have overdone it in that department, going for adults as it's prime audience. But the kids are not amused. 7/10 for adults, 5/10 for children.
