If I were stuck on a deserted island with nothing but this movie, a dvd player and a tv, I'd bludgeon myself unconscious with the case to keep from watching it again.

"Thus" (points laser at screen) "‘Baby Got Back' alludes to the innate desire in man to attain the unattainable. A threshold of man's creative powers, seeking always the potentiality." (Next slide.) "‘You're Too Big to Fit in Here' represents the same allusion, but embraces the destructive power - women destroying men's creative aspect by assimilating it - yet it also features a sapphic car gag for male laughs and gaze, negating any subversive potential" (Receives PhD).

GOD AWFUL, end of story. Imagine your standard piece of cr-p raunchy "comedy" failing 2 mimic the Farrelly Bros' more memorable comedies. But forego any genuine emotion & imagine an entire script written by the "writers" 4 the presenters on the MTV VMA's. Imagine dumber Sandler but replace his take-it-or-leave-it sensibilities w/ female writers & performers out 2 to prove they can be as crude & crass as men are. Imagine Bridesmaids trying 2 make EVERY scene the diarrhea scene. That's this movie.

Pretty shitty. Some people tell me that this film doesn't have to be good as long as its funny. Well this film isn't funny either. It's more or less offensive that someone could imagine these ditsy, irresponsible, mean-spirited and inconcievably dumb girls could make good protagonists. Even more offensive is the innane plot and completely awkward an unfunny direction. Shit.

So stupid, but not even funnily so. It is just Cameron Diaz at her worst, flailing around trying to be funny, and not succeeding.

Ugly, joyless, colossal misfire is also clumsy and ungainly on a craftsmanship level – like an explosion of ideas at the comedy factory that were never properly scrutinised or thought through, we have bizarro musical numbers interspersed with awkward, vile “raunch” humour, shoehorned into a skeletal plot that seems purely designed to get us from one gross-out gag to the next. No sense of comic timing or thought to be found here. Pretty desperate – Diaz, Applegate & Blair deserve so much better.

It's so stupid it's hard to put it in words. It's embarrasing, hardly funny and also boring. Like most raunchy comedies, just a bit more awfully done.

The "Penis Size" musical number is literally the most insane, literally non-sequiter moment in the last ten years of cinema.

You can tell it's an American movie because it's full of puerile sex jokes, but nobody so much as takes their bra off. And it's a pity because there's nothing else here.

One of the worst pieces of shit I have ever witnessed. It gets a 10 instead of a zero because the cute girls distracted me from its teribbleness for approximately that many seconds.

I don't remember a lot about this, other than that painfully long musical sequence about penises. That means that most of the movie was forgettable and the remainder was downright embarrassing.

Horrible, horrible movie. The acting is repulsive, the story line is incredible stupid, and the whole thing was just wretched. I cant believe I sat through the entire thing, one of the biggests wastes of my time EVER!

The jokes are really unfunny and awkward. Obviously someone thought sophomoric sex jokes involving attractive female leads with decent to mediocre comic talent would lead to hilarity. Someone thought wrong.

The writing is quite basic. The acting is as adorable as it could be given the terrible script. If you are looking for an utterly generic romcom that doesn't stand out in any way, this is it. But that's almost criminal given the quality of the casting.

Every time when i tell to myself that don't go theaters to watch movie about group of female friends searching desperately for love, i still go and will be disappointed. Same happened with this movie. Well, actors were good but story not.

Unfortunately one funny/sexy scene does not make a good movie (the bikini car scene with the biker cracked me up). The ladies look pretty good in this flick, but what a vapid first world problem type of movie.

False alarm everybody, you can maintain you unrealistic expectations about relationships. It was a bit rocky there for a while but it's ok now. We'll re-enforce the fairy-tale clichés despite all the ground work we laid. We can't have a downer ending even if it does compromise the integrity of the film.

Reminds me of a female-centered Judd Apatow movie a bit. The romance bit was lame, but it actually was kind of funny. Youtube the "Penis Song."

If the two leads were males , and the jokes reversed to be male gender oriented but everything else was exactly the same, I am betting most people rate it 20 points higher. Oh wait, that has virtually been done, 2.4 million times in guy movies. Same old same old but with women.

"A romantic comedy without the sugar" is right. There's nothing sweet about this thing. Like Shmendrek noted, the most memorable moment is an overly-long and absolutely embarrassing musical number about penises, so that should tell you what you need to know about the film's quality. Like the Queefing episode of South Park, I'm sorry ladies, but this kind of gross-out humour is only funny when guys do it. Or at least, these girls just suck at it. If that's sexist, so sue me. This is painful.
