The last two minutes are perfection. The rest is close.

Hertzfeldt on the absurdity of living.

It's the weakest part of the trilogy, with a bit less focus, but still very moving and wryly amusing in the way other Hertzfeldt films are.

More Bill! It's essentially a continuation of the last one, and it's just as good. The piece right at the end is one of the most affecting things I've ever seen in film, and it's within a short about stick figures, which speaks volumes. Hertzfeldt has a real gift, and I am excited for the last third of the trilogy. Score is not a grade.

I don't know if I like this or EWBOK more, to be honest. I think EWBOK was more solid the entire way through, and was probably "deeper" and gets its point across better. But this has higher highs than EWBOK... like the ending. The ending in this was incredible, and so soul-crushing. So I'm gonna wuss out and give them the exact same score because the quality here is so ridiculous.

This film shook me to the core. Hertzfieldt has an uncanny ability at capturing how mundane and absurd life can be, all while maintaining an unrivaled sense of poignancy throughout the whole piece. The last two minutes of this really elevated the whole film ridiculously. In short, I loved this.

Hertzfeldt's vision comes full circle in his magnus opus' penultimate chapter, an aural-visual experience that captivates the imagination and seeps into the subconscious like few animated shorts have done before. Who knew such a mature work of art could be crafted using mostly simplistic pencilled-in stick figures.

My favourite of the three -- the footage of our stick figure character's neck expanding out into space is something I find reasonably meaningless, yet is oddly powerful to watch and something I will never forget.

I preferred this Hertzfeldt short to the first chapter of the Bill saga. The plot was more upbeat (well, generally) and a bit funnier. My friend said "It was good but I can never watch it again, too soul-crushing" and I'm not sure I agree.

Effective in parts, but the elements of arbitrariness come across less as absurd humour and more as sadism.

This feels... unusually, even surprisingly... epic for Hertzfeldt. It's still juvenile and mean-spirited, just like everything else he does

All the shorts in this series are good, but individually they don't have the same impact as together (which I consider a masterpiece).

I was kind of bored throughout, though I did enjoy the ending.

I'm not sure if this counts as a "movie" since it's only about 20 minutes long, but if in any case, it's probably my favorite animation of all time. And I'm a man who likes to watch animation.

I'm out of things to say. See my thoughts on the other works of the trilogy, and the feature film they comprise. Blah blah blah blah blah.

Even better than Everything Will Be Ok. Do yourself a favor and watch it. I don't even want to start describing what it is like.

More good stuff from Don Hertzfeldt in a sequel to "Everything Will Be OK". Again his unique style of stick-figure animation laden with colorful effects, and themes of mental degeneration, existentialism, and a morbid death-obsession. Not nearly as good as its predecessor, I Am So Proud of You humorously recounts the character Bill's macabre family history in a fashion similar to the crazy life stories told in Adam Elliot movies.

Watched as a part of "It's Such a Beautiful Day" trilogy by Hertzfeldt.
