The 80's music really dates the flick which I suppose is good or bad depending on whether or not you're into 80's thrillers. The tension is actually very well done as the stakes, and gambles of the protagonist, gradually increase until the point of no return at the climax. In that respect, it's masterful. However the final twist at the end feels utterly shoe-horned in for no other reason that to ensure the audience will go "I didn't see that coming."

Solid 80s thriller. Just pretend that twist in the end never happened.

Diverting but ultimately trivial. Despite an excellent performance from Will Patton, some criminally corny music, slow start, and Kevin Costner eating a bug off a windshield hurt it plenty.

Totally dated with a completely unmotivated twist ending, but still kinda fun.

Pretty good and well worked out suspense thriller, I enjoyed it. End twist was unnecessary but funny.

Rather than "No Way Out", I'm calling this one "Blame the Other Guy" as the moral of this thriller seems to be no problem is so serious that it can't be resolved by just blaming someone else. And that's a valuable life lesson. From the holocaust to Watergate to Iran-Contra to Bush's presidency and beyond. All tragic events that could have been at least partially avoided if someone just had to the good sense to...blame the other guy. See, it works. I love thrillers with a message.
