Vince Vaughn gets paid by each word pouring out of his stupid mouth. There is a shocking amount of tits in this; this is either a prudish warning or a (pssst hey hey ;) )

It's weirdly muted - like, it kinda wants to be a wacky Hangover/Eurotrip-esque frat-favorite comedy, but kind of not at the same time? Even the titty-centric sauna scene just has this weird, muted, not-very-funny-or-sexy, no-musical-score vibe to it, like you just dreamed it. Its attempts at pathos are kind of lame. Dave Franco's character is agonizing.

Things you need to know before watching this film: 1. Vince Vaughn plays himself....AGAIN!. 2. Tits everywhere. 3. Penis as well. 4. Being "mentally challenged" is a running gag. 5. Dave Franco smiles 946 times. Meh.

Vince Vaughn was mostly entertaining as the indomitable optimist starting a new company. The absurd situations were comical but not many were laugh out loud funny. Several good gags & funny moments. A lighthearted movie about competition & fortitude. Though many attempts at humor fell flat, it was enjoyable enough to overlook them. Sienna Miller was underutilized. The family scenes were sweet but this is not for kids. Not great, but also not a waste of time either.

Vince Vaughn's Unfinished Business (2015) wasn't unfinished business at all. It delivered it's stupidity, and that's all the business it had.

Even though I don't enjoy those "comedies" (and I wouldn't really qualify them as such), I have a sweet spot for Vince Vaughn. I just enjoy watching him in this silly movies with silly plots and silly jokes (read "silly" as "stupid and annoying").

Vince Vaughn's most recent flicks have been a lot like that--some better, some worse. The guy always seems to offer viewers a few family values (namely that he values family), but smothers the sentiment in some insanely problematic content. And Unfinished Business might just take the cake (made from a stack of donuts, of course). While the movie might end on a high note, the images it leaves are as low as low can go. (pluggedin.com)

A Vince Vaughn-led misfire whose title refers not to the plot or characters but to the production, Unfinished Business comes across as a film that isn't complete. It contains scenes that are supposed to be funny in the moment but aren't, barely any tissue connecting them, a laughable attempt at pathos, and an ending that feels incredibly anticlimactic. It's a miserable watch from start to finish, barely containing any -- if that -- laughs.

Unfinished Business takes a melancholic tone and tries to reflect upon life, in ways more akin to drama than comedy. That is to say, the film isn't that funny. The "jokes" are crude, the exaggerations preposterous, and Franco's performance is as unnecessary as it is cringeworthy. However, the drama aspect is quite enjoyable, even if it is a bit cheesy. Vaughn manages to ground his performance in humanity around themes of identity, and can be heartfelt if you're in the right mood.

Is this a Dramedy? Super predictable. Wasn't many good laughs; tries too hard to be uplifting, while barely trying to be funny. Forgettable lead performances. I wasn't expecting a best picture nominated film... But the laughs were a bit cheap. Lots of sorta funny/awkward moments from Dave Franco who's attempting to play a mentally challenged but loveable simpleton... Who instead comes off like he's smoking 6 bongs between each take.

I don't want to spend and hour and a half with Vince Vaughn. I don't want to spend 10 minutes with Vince Vaughn.

Dave Franco is the best part of this movie. Vaughn just does not deliver while everyone does. Usually I enjoy Vince Vaughn in roles like this but maybe it is becoming played out. Franco has good timing and comedic chops and I would love to see him get more prominent roles in films. Definitely not a stand out but still a fun film with a positive message about hard work paying off.

Mostly dumb. While you're watching this you're going to think you've seen it a dozen times already. I can only imagine Tom Wilkinson must have needed new tires for his car or something and figured he would use the money from this to pay for them.

Vaguely entertaining in a stupid way... I though there were some hints of good ideas and a good lesson buried in this.

Full disclosure, Vince Vaughn is pretty much poison to me. Tom Wilkinson was funny, but, even he can kind of wear thin. That's the whole story of this movie I think: it wears thin. To be fair, there are funny moments here that DO include Vaughn, but they're few and far between. Dave Franco didn't work for me from frame one. I guess at the end of the day, I didn't laugh nearly enough. There's drama, but, it's nothing captivating. So it didn't work as comedy OR dramedy for me. But hey... titties.

One of the worst produced films I've seen at this level. The jokes don't land. The characters are just annoying. There's no real pay off. It's really, really bad.

The title 'Unfinished Business' works like a selffulfilling prophecy, as it is exactly that. The film seems rushed through production, jokes are hit and miss (mostly miss), overall it just doesn't 'work'. Davo Franco is mostly annoying and has no comedic talent whatsoever, just the same hideous annoying smile like his brother. A failed 'comedy'.

I guess I was expecting more comedy from a, you know, comedy. Most of the stuff that's supposed to be humorous falls flat, and Franco's character gets old real fast. The best part of this movie was actually the family dynamic between Vaughn's character & his wife/kids. I would have rather seen a movie focusing on that than what we got here. Hell, I may have even liked an hour and a half of American Businessman 42.
