Thematically similar to HER.

Two great performances and a simple exploration of what new technologies might have to offer, and whether or not those new possibilities are something humans are ready for. In short, the kind of sci-fi that I love most.

The concept was better than the execution.

Didn't really care for this. The script felt very hollow and so did the character(s).

Jesus, this series is frustrating! Again, it's only captivating in a way which was completely planned out by the producers. Again, there are some good questions asked, but it's just about asking these questions and there is no soul behind it, even though this episode is exactly about soul. Again, it's stylish and well acted but there is no real beauty.

Another great episode in what's quickly becoming my favorite anthology series ever.

I would've liked the robot and wife getting to know each other more and both (!) adjust to be around each other. In general, it felt the story could've been longer and more detailed. That would've been an interesting new angle.

Another superb episode -- even though this story has been done before (with similar technology, even), this still turns out to be an absorbing watch as the woman here weens her way to reclaiming her boyfriend, though watching her test out its flaws just shows how (unfortunately) unresponsive and inhumane fuck-bots can be.

Feels like the black sheep of the series. Equal parts sweet and depressing, this episode hits a more personal message that caught me off guard at first. While the last half is slightly predictable, it's still fascinating to watch thanks to the wonderful acting

Compared to its predecessors, 'Be Right Back' is light on social commentary and its tone isn't quite as heavy, but the subject material still leaves an impact thanks to the grounded setting and deep performances; the relative lack of plausibility barely goes noticed thanks to the somber and bittersweet touch on this morbid episode.

Unlike the other Black mirrors so far, I couldn't get into it. It just wasn't that convincing. It was like a badly acted rehash of the movie "Her".

I love how the story just snowballs. You sort of realize where it's going, but it's still really interesting getting there. Very well done.

I felt ahead of the curve on this one, constantly yelling "No!" and "Bad idea" at the screen. However, the acting talent get's it over the line.

one of the more tender episodes, as far as this series is concerned, while still retaining most of the shock factor that comes with the show's premise. what this show does brilliantly (and this episode is no exception) is that it tackles human issues through a technological lens - this episode was superb in how it tackled with the issue of death, and what it really means to lose someone. another excellent addition to one of the best television shows ever made.
