The Rob Schneider Project - day 2. The attempt to understand true madness in the form of All Things Schneider continues. However, our research hit an unexpected snag: the non-Schneider stimuli present in this movie were much, much worse than even our scientists could have predicted, even blocking out whatever damage Rob was doing to our minds. Rarely before have I seen such a collection of horrid, unfunny assholes. That smiley-face guy gave me nightmares. Schneider-annoyance factor: 2.

Overlooked is one of Jim Varney's finest roles.

An uncontrollably unintelligent and obnoxious film. The worst part is, that seems to be what they were shooting for. Why!? Total crap!

Very convincingly one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Completely unfunny in every imaginable way.

Aggressively stupid movie about aggressively stupid people. Jim Varney deserved better.

I watched this as an 8-year-old and was puzzled by the stupidity of the jokes. If a stupid movie has lowered its stupid bar beneath an 8-year-olds level of stupid humour (bare in mind I was probably still laughing at words like "doodle" at that stage) than something has gone horribly amiss. That or I was a particularly serious-minded 8 year old. I do recall I flew out as an invited guest to the UN security summit the following week and no dueling banjos were on the plane. A very silly movie.

Turn this off the moment Cloris Leachman gets destroyed by the tree branch, I'm pretending I did and that's why the score is so gosh darn tootin' so high. I stumbled into a Rob Schneider movie :(

Only okay if you are flipping channels, it's already on, and you have no other options. Pretty bad but it is what it is.

I was going to say the humor has aged poorly, but the unfunniness of this is probably timeless.

It's goofy and has funny bits. That's it though. The general experience is annoying and insulting to the senses.

Unbelievably stupid and that was the intention. Now I admit I like lowbrow slapstick humour but this is just so stupid it's IQ lowering. There is nothing remotely funny about this film at all whatsoever. The only redeeming part is Erika Eleniak is kind of hot but that doesn't make it even close to worth seeing.

While it is interesting to see Jim Varney do something different, this movie was still a bad idea.

You know, I watch this every single time it's on TV. It's not very good, but it is fun watching the big names ham it up, especially Tomlin and Diedrich Bader.

Made for - while simultaneously alienating - the lowest common denominator. And everyone else (accidentally stumbling upon it on cable) should know better.

Some of the cast was a perfect fit, especially Jim Varney. The movie itself was better when I was 8. Looking back at it now I can understand why it got such weak reviews. But I wouldn't hate watching it again.

Schneider quest, film 2: one of the most unfunny, embarrassing, horrible movies in the world. I HATE the granny, LOATHE smileyassholeface guy, DESPISE dumb chick, DETEST shitdad. EVERYONE. I never ever expected me to say this, and I'm beyond ashamed of it too. But every time there was a scene of Rob Schneider, it was a breath of fresh air.. Now, where did I put that gun..?

There was an excellent reason to get the empathy of the public, an old TV show of success, which portrayed people simple, which is easy to identify with everyone. But the movie ended up being a sort of B movie mixed with crap resulting in something predictable but less than expected of a comedy.
