Season 1 and 2 are hilarious and completely worth watching. Then pretty much overnight I began to find the show extremely repetitive in the types of stories and types of jokes it tells (they tried to shake the repetitive stories up in season 5, but I think it actually made things worse, not better). I eventually quit the show. But still, like I said, the first two seasons were great.

Amusing at first, but it drags on forever. I gave up after six seasons. The humor repeats itself a lot and barely evolve over the years, which is a massive shame. Gave it a shot, enjoyed it for a bit, got bored for a long time, then eventually gave up.

This show was pretty good until the writers decided to stop writing and just rehash old jokes and redone plotlines until the show became unwatchable. Just stop watching after the fourth season as you've already seen everything this show has to offer.

The stilted (but good looking) animation takes some time getting used to, but between the stellar voice cast (the best since Futurama), the movie-reference bonanza and the rapid fire jokes, it's most definitely in the high end of animated shows.

I was really into this show a few years ago but there has been a noticeable drop in quality in recent years that has made me think of it less favorably. If you can exercise some self-control and watch only the first few seasons then it might turn out to be one of your favorites. Terrific voiceover work from everybody but especially Judy Greer who, strangely, has never found a character so perfectly suited to her peculiar talents.

At it's best, the funniest show on TV with characters, wit, and knowing homages I care a lot about. The first ~6 seasons are mostly solid. By the time of the "dream" seasons, the show has long overstayed its welcome. Still, all the way to the end, the show has great moments/jokes sprinkled throughout.

It jumped the shark after about 2 seasons. After that point it felt extremely repetitive. And the recurring non jokes became frustrating rather than funny. Too often a character will set up a joke and the punch line will be them not having a good punch. That's funny the first time but gets exhausting after like 10 seasons of it. It's a funny show, but you can save yourself time and just watch 2-3 seasons. Then you've seen it all.

S1-12. Funny animated spy spoof full of adult and (self-)referential humor. A few seasons (S8-9 for example) feel inferior to the others, though.

Easily one of the best written animated shows it blends comedic timing with good action. It's such a raunchy blast that it may not be for everyone but I certainly enjoy sitting down and watching it. Just take a look at the notable cast list and you will be immediately intrigued by what this may have to offer.

I would have rated this a 90 or so but as it went on it lost me. Even at its worse I still think it's a good show but it definitely stopped having the same level of charm, humour, originality and creativity that it had when it began. Which is a shame because at its best it's one of my favourite comedic shows ever, and that's how you get ants.

Funny for the first couple of seasons, then it declined quickly as the jokes became more repetitive and the characters even more irritating than usual. Another show that went on far longer than it needed to.

it starts to feel really fucking samey after a while, but it's better than being alone with my thoughts. one episode isn't enough, but two is too many. and i'd trade it all for another season of danger 5. but, yeah, it's funny. wait. are you still reading this? you don't have anything better to do than read some loser's archer review? fuckoff with ya.

It's strange, I've tried this a couple of times, different episodes, various seasons, mixed levels of alcohol abuse (drunk works best). I can't get into the show. Sure it's made with style and has plenty of adult content and I'm an adult with style, so perfect match right? Nope, just not the right chemistry for the lab set in my head.

While the show occasionally drags, it succeeds in just how absurd it can get - both situationally and just how many references Archer himself can make. One of the most impressive parts of the show is just how much it has me caring what happens to some of the most ridiculous characters I have ever encountered. Through 6 seasons, Pam (Amber Nash) has been my favorite character, and I'm looking forward to even more absurd adventures in the forthcoming seasons.

I have a hard time caring about animated series, but there is some fun to be had here. It does however get repetitive relatively fast. (3 seasons)

First season is mostly about finding its feet, once Pam, Cheryl & Krieger are established as the comedic backbone it's fantastic. It peaked with the Vice/country singer season; the following LA & coma seasons weren't all that great in comparison. The problem is that there is basically no characterization, so the writing & comedic tempo as good as it was deflated after several seasons (hence the attempts at the soft coma reboots). S1: 65, S2-S5: 90, S6: 80, S7: 65, S8-S10: 55, S11: 60
