I gave this an extremely high score a long time ago. Now that things about C.K. have been revealed, it makes me upset to look at the guy and realize that he used to be someone where I would think "yeah, I relate to him."

Pretty much a string of endless (hilarious) potty humour with bits of genuinely insightful stuff tossed in for good measure. Louis C.K. isn't my favourite comedian but I was constantly having some great laughs throughout this. If you don't mind dirty comedians that couldn't care less about being politically correct then this is certainly something to see.

I love his stuff. Funniest comic working today, hands down.

A fairly constant stream of dick jokes and sex humor. Don't watch this with your momma.

It's kinda cool how this guy's biggest detractors and biggest fans are somehow both right. Riotously funny in spots (and even his lesser material mostly succeeds) and all despite just being a bunch of dick and poop jokes.

One of the most interesting stand-ups, almost like a more personal version of Carlin. I don't think I've ever in my life laughed as hard watching something like when I saw Shameless.

Of course Carlin is untouchable legend, but this is the closest you can get to him nowadays. Quality stuff :)

Louis embodies (in a parodical fashion) the burning OTT hatred that modern day people have for absolutely everything. Its also great to see Louis miss the pit-falls that lesser comedians would find themselves in by self-referencing and overanalysing the gross-out gags and breaking stand-up comedy's sacredness by occasionally calling out his own bullshit.

I've never gotten the opportunity to achieve the beautiful sense of wonder when somebody legitimately says to you, "suck a bag of dicks." I want to chase that feeling.

The great stand-up comics have a way of effortlessly mining the zeitgeist, whether their material is primarily political, social or scatological. We are living through a brutally sarcastic, ironic, ADD-tinged era, and Louis C.K.'s comedy is a great representation of that.

Takes a while to really get going but when it does, it's a riot.

The portion about his daughters is a pinnacle of raunchy, obscene humor.

One of my favorite comedians. His TV show is pretty decent as well. Personally, I don't give a shit if he masturbates in front of people. He's not masturbating in front of me.

If you watch a few of these within a short period of time, then he gets real old real fast. Conclusion and protip: don't watch a lot of him within a short period of time.

Funny, and I would probably rate it higher if he hadn't followed it up with two specials that were even better.

I saw this after watching and liking Hilarious. This one is not as good, but at least now I know why his wife left him.

Truly earns its title. Bold standup from C.K, the first third is especially funny but it's all good.

The first Louis C.K. stand-up I've seen and certainly not the last. Consistently funny, his easy-going attitude makes the thorny subjects he tackles much more accessible than with some of his peers (even if much of the material has been visited before by previous comedians). Made me physically cry with laughter twice, and that has to be a stamp of approval.

Seen: 2. Every Louis C.K. special very well might be peak Louie. This is the earliest special of his that I have seen, and it is a good one.
