Hollywood blockbuster recipe: Take three sassy, spunky girls (acting talent optional). Pour into spandex with selection of stale one-liners. Sprinkle generously with hip cameos and anachronistic pop culture references (why a mostly 80's and 90's soundtrack for a 00's movie based on a 70's TV show?). Half-bake for 2 hours with at least 6 or 7 Matrix-esque slo-mo action sequences. Top it off with one jive-talkin' minority and serve.

Deliberate camp & parody are exceedingly tough to pull off. Especially when its also trying to incorporate genuine suspense & excitement. There's a VERY fine line between "so silly it's fun" & "so silly it's dumb" and that line is different for everyone. It worked brilliantly for me the first time, so I'm not surprised I rarely grinned this time. Bosley's also a character I don't need. I still enjoy the over-the-top action, watching these 3 hotties have a ball again & Moore's a perfect villain.

I can't complain too much because it delivers what you'd expect girls fighting in a variety of outfits, absurd amounts of innuendo and bad puns, and many many cameos. As stupid as the whole thing is it at least makes a minimal amount of sense and the fight choreography is pretty good most of the time, so it's kind of enjoyable.

Shows little girls they can grow up to be action stars too! As long as they're a perfect 10, and willing to dress like a Spice Girl in heat while they ass-wiggle through every scene.

Mindless T&A does not make a movie. This one threw away all of the sensibility that the first one barely had a grip on. It goes nowhere, and it gets there faster than you can say, "I paid to see this?" Total crap.

A spectacle of the highest frivolity, where image means everything. It verges on the abstract --I wonder if this might be the first avant-garde film in Summer blockbuster clothing. This is a movie about the way sex is rhapsodized in popular culture. It's satirizing Hollywood excess and substance deficiency. All the accoutrements of style, the symbols which refer endlessly back upon themselves like a roomful of mirrors. A gaze into the abyss of pop culture.

Mildly entertaining due to the Angels being attractive but that's about it. The action isn't entertaining, the acting is nothing special and there's no real plot to speak of.

"Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle" would make me so very sad, if it weren't too preoccupied with making me laugh. Every aspect of the first that didn't work is played up even more this time around, held together by a narrative that somehow has even less surprises than its predecessor, with another secret villain, more wire-faux action, and character drama sourced from the most banal and trivial conflicts imaginable. Points for the Angels themselves though, who seem to be having a blast together.

It's cheesy and impossible not to laugh at, but still a fun ride from beginning to end. Cameron Diaz is bubbly, Crispin Glover is creepy, Lucy Liu is sexy and Drew Barrymore is...well...Drew Barrymore: the chick you wanna get high with while dropping water balloons over a freeway overpass. The anonymous "Charlie" assigns the angels to guard a software bigwig, while uncovering a plot to kill their boss. If you take the movie seriously AT ALL, then you wont enjoy it (and you might need some help)

I know I gave this a "2", but in the end I am incredibly pleased with this hallmark movie, because it marks the first time Hollywood manufactured a film that is just as effective medicinally as Xanax. Now when I have a panic attack, I pop this sucker in the ol' DVD tray, and my brain is immediately numbed by the lack of content of any kind whatsoever. It's a 2 and not a 0 only because of Drew Barrymore, the most adorable ex(?)-cocaine addict I've ever seen.

Half the score of the first movie, and not even half the movie. What was it I said about McG? Double that! A movie so bad that it may be carrer shredding. Thankfully Bill Murray wasn't involved in this fiasco. And George McFly is still trying to kill people? Huh? ...and don't get me started on Demi Moore... That was 106 minutes I'll never get back.

The trio returns for another action, comedy adventure. The action scenes were fun and flashy. There were a few funny moments. The terrible script and dumb story made me want to turn off this sequel. I liked the first movie. I was glad Diaz, Liu, and Barrymore came back for the sequel. Bernie Mac was a good addition even though he was mostly featured in very stereotypical situations. It really seemed like this movie was a vehicle to prove that Demi Moore is still hot and Crispin Glover is a go

As pure entertainment, it has its moments, but this kind of filmmaking is much easier to take in small doses. Watching this on video is best, where you can pause or stop the movie at any time and return to it whenever you feel the need for another shot of mindless, high-energy entertainment. Don't worry about not remembering what's going on. Like it really matters...

The Angels (Lucy Liu), (Drew Barrymore), (Cameron Diaz) are ready to go undercover to retrieve two missing silver wedding bands containing valuable encrypted information -- the new identities of every person in the Federal Witness Protection Program. When witnesses start to turn up dead, only the Angels can stop the perpetrator by using their expertise as masters of disguise, espionage, and martial arts.

I love Charlie's Angels from the dark ages when they were a television show. I loved the first film, and this second one was also very good. But, in the sort of curse of the sequel, this movie just didn't have the same great writing and plotting. Of course, how could they possibly do better than the first movie? There was NO WAY.

McG is at it again with more absurdly dumb Gen-Y girl power. Has it occurred to young girls yet that it's actually more empowering to celebrate beautiful women using their brains to solve crimes (70's Angels) than mindless tramps that seduce or kick ass their way out of every situation?

The truly remarkable thing about this is that Lucy Liu, Cameron Diaz and Drew Barrymore are not bad actors. I feel like there is a degree of awareness in the wooden delivery of the terrible dialogue. Still further, presumeably McG saw those performances whilst filming, and again in the edit, and thought "yep, that'll do." Incredible. Y bad.

Charlie's Angels movie might not have meant to spark young women's interest in karate lessons. But it did . And perhaps, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle doesn't mean to glamorize S&M clubs, lap dancing, cohabitation, and "good old-fashioned punch-outs," but it does. Full Throttle is socially irresponsible, insulting, soft-core porn. Charlie's angels offer nothing for the audience to root for--and demonstrate over and over again that they're anything but angelic.
