The funniest movie I have ever seen in my entire life. I'll admit I'm a complete sucker for Chris Farley and slapstick humour though. If you don't like that then this movie isn't for you as it doesn't provide anything but that. "Bees in the car!" makes me laugh until I cry every single time I see it.

Holy shnikeys this movie is hilarious! Chris Farley and David Spade are at their best throughout the entire film as they drive around America trying to save their company. No funnier combination of actors has ever been made as Tommy (Farley) tries to learn to function in the real world and Richard (Spade) tries not to jump off a cliff in irritation of the childish Tommy. You will never stop laughing while you watch this film as Farley and Spade display their comic genius around every corner.

The scene with the fight over the radio is funny. When they finally start singing "Superstar" I am widely smiling. When the hood suddenly pops up, I am laughing. When it comes down and they're heading straight towards a semi, I am gut laughing. When the hood pops back up and blinds them again, I have tears in my eyes and can't see the screen anymore. It's so funny it makes me not watch it.

Chris Farley was horrible. As far as I can tell, he only ever had a career because SNL needed a fat guy to fall down a lot. His schtick is totally unfunny, and so are the majority of his films. David Spade sucks also.

A common comedy with a common plot and some painfully common jokes. A lot of physical 'hurf durf I hit my head!' stuff and only a few giggle-worthy moments. However, Chris Farley is a surprisingly likeable protagonist and I thought his good-natured goofiness was kinda charming and enjoyable.

I love Chris Farley. I give this extra points because it is his best movie. I have said before I have the emotional range of a grizzly bear, but his biography really touched me because I've got a lot in common with him aside from doing hard drugs. Everyone should watch this at least once just to see physical comedy at its finest with Chris.

Wow, what a lovely surprise. Undeniably childlish humor, but Farley brings such a genuinely sweet and innocent aura to the proceedings--even his piques of rage betray his incompatibility with meanness. My nostalgic brain feels like it found the missing puzzle piece in an upbringing filled with Farrelly and Sandler comedies.

Tommy Boy is hands down the best comedy Chris Farley starred in. It is absolutely hilarious, and though not completely memorable, many of the times that you hear something and you ask, "Hey, what's that from," if you can't figure it out, it's probably from Tommy Boy. It's a sleeper pop culture monster that is fun even when you just think about it. Really good!

Loud, frantic comedy is simultaneously leaden and dull, due to a lack of comic rhythm from director Segal, and the empty chemistry between Farley and Spade – both actors seem to be uncomfortably playing for two different audiences and never the two shall meet! Mixes vacuous elements of road movies, board room shenanigans and the “whirling dervish”, with none of the elements coming together or clicking. Some amusing scatological bits and Bo Derek WTF? keep this from a barrel bottom scraper.

I was really not a fan of most of Peter Segal's direction in this movie. Often times the quick cuts kept things from being funny for me. I thought this movie lived on Chris Farley, and he did a great job carrying it. He was hilarious. The physical comedy combined with his comedic timing in each delivery was great. However, even the same jokes wore a bit thin by the end.

Definitely better than I thought it was gonna be. Lots of laughs (the car radio singalongs, for example), wacky moments (the stag coming to life), and also quite a bit of heart as well. Okay, some of the goings-on left plausibility far behind, but it never really took itself too seriously so I didn't mind. And I was even able to put up with that nattering little smirkball David Spade for the duration (glad to see that he went bald at the end btw).
