Basically one big setup for the Marvel multiverse, which looks to be their bread and butter from now on. Hiddleston is as watchable as ever, but his character is quickly de-powered and pushed aside to make way for a more-competent female variant of himself, ultimately becoming a side character in his own show. Overall it's *fine*, but I wouldn't call it essential, which is a shame because the central timekeeper concept had a lot more potential.

Loki is undeniably entertaining but after a point it's hard to care. The plot is more gobbledegook that raises a ton of interesting questions that you can be sure it has no interest in answering or even acknowledging. The character-work is hit-and-miss as this is trying to prop up the least interesting version of its titular character. I wish half as much attention went to the script as went to the production design. Oh well, Loki is clever enough and should please fans of this universe.

The 1st ep, a shamed Loki & the concept hooked me at first, but then it's just a bunch of goofy odd stuff co-starring a female Loki who's stronger because Wokeness. We also learn Loki's bisexual also because Wokeness. Had any of the jokes worked for me I might not have skipped whole episodes & FF'd to get to the finale, which was both somewhat interesting & a giant waste of time. It let me know everything's going to be the same but kind of different now. Wow, no shit, it's just like before.

Not bad. Not amazing. Character development for a villain that ultimately is always a villain (in the source material) and does not have these anti-hero tendencies. I'm with the change in direction to a certain degree but I have a hard time seeing Loki joining the new Avengers for example.

I'm not even a fan of Loki but this show was awesome. While Wanda and Falcon were important but not as substantial narratively to the grand MCU scheme, this broke it all open, which makes it exciting. It did a great job of maintaining the mystery, inching us along, with great music and tons of memorable moments. Has typical MCU comedy but doesn't drown it. It gets a 95 because S01E06 is so good, otherwise this is a 90.

One of the most imaginative things Marvel's ever done.Loki broadly expands the MCU in very unique and interesting ways.It recontextualises a lot of what we already know and changes the path of the universe in spectacular ways.It sets up and pays off an incredibly interesting mystery that includes great characters(big and small), it includes unexpected twists and turns, while its directing, cinematography and score is some of the best that the MCU has seen.Excited to see where we'll go from here.

The events of this series lend themselves well to the larger picture. It was very well done with the set up and Jonathan Majors was able to knock it out of the park in the Finale so we can get a taste of what is to come for the MCU. Tom Hiddleston was likable and the way he came back and really gravitated towards wanting to show a different side of Loki was intriguing and a smart plan. Wilson was the best part as Mobius and I really hope we see him again after the mid credits reveal.

Pretty fun but wears out its welcome as the season goes on. Squandering an interesting idea until the very last moment to end the season on a cliffhanger. Maybe season 2 will be different.

Well, the story is rather flimsy and slightly uninteresting. But it is visually very appealing, the music is out of this timeline (also the opening credits) and there is great chemistry between Wilson, Hiddleston, and DiMartino. Ms. Minutes is a great Disney creation (again, how can you make a f*cking clock cute!!!). Yet, Hiddleston created a much more nuanced Loki in Avengers, I would rather have that character in a more conventional Asgardian story personally; but not bad.

Way better than WandaVision and Falcon/Winter Soldier. The second episode was the best thing Disney+ has done so far but loses steam as soon as the mystery turns into a love story (although that is still kind of funny since he's just in love with himself).

Along with Thor Ragnarok the best thing to have come out of the MCU, if you're not counting Noah Hawley's Legion (which at least a few people involved with Loki must have watched) as part of it.

This is a showcase for Hiddleston playing off the more aloof silly Loki we saw in Thor Ragnarok. It seems like a bit of a stretch from a power hungry god but its a comic book series, just go with it. The variants and timelines get convoluted , partially intentional but all in all its just some good fun and setup for the next phases of the MCU. Wilson is good as well.

Made me re-read Asimov's End of Eternity. Season 1 is really good, but 2 is a mess and large parts could have been removed with no impact- episode 2 especially, but the final episode wraps up nicely.

The plot has absurd contrivances that pushed my suspension of disbelief and there are some nitpicks I could make regarding certain narrative beats but once it hits its stride after a mixed bag of a first season this show becomes a banger. It's so weird to watch an MCU product that cares this much about how it looks, takes its high science fiction premise seriously, have broad characterization, but also execute it without being victim to Disney's formulaic garbage. It's refreshing to see!

I love Tom Hiddleston as Loki, and so I had high hopes for this show, but the show exceeded them! While of course the MCU killing and reviving Loki a million times can get a bit annoying, this show definitely takes his character in a definite new direction, and so it feels fresh. There's also a strong cast here, with Sophia Di Martino, Owen Wilson, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw all doing a great job, as well as another I will avoid naming.

There's a lot that's good here, an interesting setup and thee setup of the multiverse and when Hiddleston and Wilson share the screen it's frequently superb. However it's not great as a standalone entity, mainly existing as exposition for the greater MCU narrative and that's not really my kind of thing. I was also unconvinced about the prominence of 'Sylvie-Loki' who just isn't as interesting/charismatic a character as TH's 'variant'. I think that was more a writing issue than SDM's performance

Loki was fun. An overlong explainer for the future projects of MCU. I did like the more personal style Marvel adopted for its series but, something always feels out of place. The realism Loki tries to bring into the ultra formalist franchise never seems to fully realize itself. At least that's what makes me feel moving in and out of the story very frequently which kind of dampens the fun. Still, a decent show that is not at all boring to watch.

It's pretty much impossible to treat MCU TV series as stand alone entities. There is too much story both before and planned after each show to expect it to be an isolated entity. That said I really enjoyed Loki's premise and the way it all went about. I feel like Loki really set the stage for the future direction of the MCU which I'm looking forward to seeing. This includes the second season as we finally see Loki achieve his glorious purpose which felt pretty satisfying.

It didn't keep me as enthralled as Wandavision, but Loki ponders some excellently deep questions about free will and the benefits of faith while being distinctly its own thing. At points the plot gets bogged down with itself and doesn't focus as much on the deeper themes of the show, and that's when it feels the most like a Marvel property.

Although the storyline has more to do with the main story of Phase 4, Wanda was more fun. This was a very unbalanced series with not enough to fill even 6 episodes. About from certain bits, it was a solid meh overall. Very mediocre.

Best to be binged in one sitting as each episode ends on a cliffhanger. Yes, the tone is more solemn that many prepared for, but Loki had a lot of growing to do to find his heart. Ending episode was mildly anticlimactic & ended on a cliffhanger, naturally. Solid segway to season 2 except the forced misunderstanding "I hate you now" drama in the concluding episode felt OOC and lazy. A slight bitter ending note to an otherwise palatable season. (Hiddleston's acting prowess gets much forgiven

In season 1 I liked the characters and the performances more than the worldbuilding. And in season 2 I liked the worldbuilding more than the story. However, whenever Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson share the screen I'm more than willing to allow any and all quibles to be pruned from my mind.

Total trash, is loki the main character or did they offshore him for a bunch of randoms and replace him with a girl loki. I have no connection to those overs, where they in the past films, NO! I hate how they take old characters and just swap them around as if theyre just tik tacs. Why would i be happy that you made a series evolveing around someone i dont give a damn about, but say its the character i cherish and like

I hated a lot of things about the show and the disappointment is still fresh, so a bit dramatically, but... it's painful for me to talk about it. I wish they'd done a comedy with just Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson, as they have perfect chemistry and that's the only acceptable thing in "Loki".

The last of Marvel's multiverse potential was flushed down the toilet after this. While this was interesting and somewhat fresh, everything following has been a complete disappointment. Updating for S2. S2 is still good and I like the addition of OB character. Still have no hope for marvel movies getting good. +5 points for proving practical sets are better than Disneys 3d stage crap.
