Utterly charming romantic comedy may have worked even better without the gimmick - Willis' voice over is too heavy-handed and lands with a thud, contrasting sharply with the comparatively clever and witty byplay between the adults. Travolta is pleasingly relaxed here, and the supporting cast highlighted by Dukakis' almost-reprise of MOONSTRUCK, and Segal's smarmy creep, are fine, but the revelation is Alley, in a wonderfully funny, abrasive and ultimately endearing performance.

I dare you to watch this and look at youself in the eyes in the mirror afterwards and say, "Wow, I just watched a great film that demanded two sequels, and I am a better person for it." If you don't laugh during that, hang yourself.

I always get this movie confused with Baby Geniuses. I'd re-watch them to help me differentiate, but they're both awful, and it's just not worth the effort. Talking babies do not carry a movie.

Easily one of the worst movies made in the '80's and reason enough never to allow Kirsty Alley, Bruce Willis and John Travolta to be hired to star in any future movies.

Fantastic story and a good chain of events. Does the whole pregnancy storyline a lot better than most. The real father is brilliant and Travolta is awesome. Even better with Bruce Willis as the baby. Not a big fan of Kirstie Alley, but shes still pretty funny.

I loved this film as a kid, but over 30 years later and at least a decade since I last sat through it I'm struggling to understand quite why. Hearing the witty, mature thoughts of a baby was a novelty at the time, and Alley shares great natural chemistry with Travolta, but otherwise it's pretty forgettable stuff. Jokes seems to dry up as the story progresses, and the final 'climactic' car chase just seems to be there to rush everything to a conclusion. Gets an extra half-star for nostalgia.

A relatively enjoyable feel-good rom-com. A few chuckles, a few heartfelt moments, a few swings and misses. The whole talking baby gag is almost a distraction because of how it pops in and out of the script, but it provides some fun moments. Overall, nothing spectacular, but Alley, Travolta, and Willis are all solid.

I understand the cute attempt at a weird concept but it simply failed on all levels. Acting, script, pacing, it all felt way too terrible to buy into. Just an annoying film really by the time it is all over and done with.

Some rather mean-spirited reviews have said that this movie is filmmaking at its most contrived, vapid and inconsequential. OK, it is extremely lightweight and it is contrived, but it doesn't pretend to be anything it isn't. Not all movies have to have all that much to say. Some of them, like this, can give you a couple of hours of relaxation in the company of affable characters, something that doesn't take too much brain power, and there's nothing wrong with that.

Oh baby, this was a cute movie. Kirstie Alley may not win any mom of the year awards, but she tries her best in this romantic comedy involving talking babies. Bruce Willis does the voice of Mikey (the baby) and he does a great job. He really shows his silly side of acting, even though it's all voice work. John Travolta is very endearing as the gruff cab driver/babysitter. Amy Heckerling from Clueless directs this and it really is pretty funny...

Look Who's Talking is a cute romantic comedy with a unique twist. The trivial, yet excellent commentary by Bruce Willis as the inner voice of an infant makes this movie great for any age group, adding a humorous insight to the world of grownups. Really good!
