Bond: Endgame. Honest question: What is your favorite Bond film staple? The cars? The girls? The gadgets? The fights? The chases? The martinis? Mine is familial drama so this delivered in spades. Ask yourself this, whose love life do you care more about, Ethan Hunt from Mission Impossible or John Wick? If you have a definitive answer, than you will enjoy this movie. I couldn't care less about either. Remember the twenty-five minutes devoted to marriage in Commando? Me neither.

The glorious nightmare this franchise would be if they tried this Daniel Craig Bond continuity for every Bond. Hideo Kojima's James Bond Bond has a waterfall he controls outside his tropical house and he is seen brushing his teeth under the waterfall and leaving the toothbrush in some holder outside. Some fucking monkey probably shows up after and just rams it up its ass howling

It's a mess, but that's no excuse for it being a charmless mess. Daniel Craig is too serious a Bond for all the goofy throwbacks, and what could have been fun camp, ends up being a dreary dull family drama.

Of course there's no time to die this goddamn film is three hours! A fitting end to Craig's tenure: an uninspired forgettable generic actioner that has none of the hallmarks that made this franchise fun for the last 60 years.

Ambitious, and the pacing is great, but Malek's villain is a bit lackluster. Luckily, the stakes are high, and Craig gives his best performance yet. He's a great Bond. At least two out of his five films as 007 would make my top 5 of the franchise. To celebrate the last 15 years of Bond, I'll give out a handful of awards... Most Attractive Bond Girl: Olga Kurylenko - Most Memorable Henchman: Dave Bautista - Best Action: the first hour of 'Casino Royale' - Best Film & Song: 'Skyfall'.

Another "woke culture" movie. I am getting bored with the constant effort to cater to the culture of fear and bickering. Lets just have at least some things we can agree on: Bond is a stupid manchild power fantasy and that is ok.

Pretty torn. In a vacuum it’s a well-directed film - Cary Fukunaga is no slouch when it comes to framing, staging, performances, any of that - and in terms of action scenes, cinematography, sets, score etc it’s all well done, even excels at points. Buuut… I’m pretty much fully burned out on them trying to make “the most IMPORTANT Bond movie ever,” the GAME CHANGER, each and every time out. In the next era I’d really just like more normal, old school style 007 adventures.

The Ana de Armas segment was the only bit actually worthy of a Bond movie, as it contained the kind of stuff that instantly puts a smirk on your face: the right mixture of humor, charm, snappy dialogues, jovial sexism and recklessness. The rest was just a guy feeling sorry for himself, forced into (mostly) ridiculous action scenes or in and out of the arms of a girl he's got no chemistry with whatsoever. Although an antagonist could really do wonders (Skyfall), this one is completely forgettable

This sprawling epic relies too heavily on unnecessary connections to its immediate predecessors, but its energetic pace never lets up. Its pace, the practically effected action sequences, and strong cinematography and design mean the film never drags, even at nearly three hours long. A fitting send off for Craig’s battered but resilient Bond.

You won't be bored for a second - at least I wasn't - despite the questionable if not radical choices made to, ahem, 'conclude' Daniel Craig's honestly fantastic outing as James Bond. Hans Zimmer recycles his Batman score and hopes no one will notice [*places his pinky finger near his mouth*], mwahahaha

Craig was really beginning to show his age here and while this movie was crafted as an intentional send off for him, I can't say I was a fan of the manufactured sentimentality. I like my Bond to be a player, a smooth operator, he shouldn't fall in love, and you definitely don't end the way he ended here.

There's certainly finality to this Bond film. Daniel Craig had long promised he would not do another film and it's clear all the way through that he meant it. A good film overall, it's hampered by choices made in the disappointing "Spectre." Craig and Lea Seydoux lack chemistry and I didn't buy their character's speedy romance from the previous film. Therefore, making them "endgame" in this film sets it up for failure. This film is not without its charms. The sequence in Cuba is a highlight.

Any media outlet giving this a glowing review is a shill in MGM's pocket and should never be given preview access to a film again. Five stars? It's SO criminally boring, feeling like a bunch of tired old ideas lazily mashed together: the script is awful and I had no idea what was going on for large chunks, but honestly couldn't care less. The worst Bond of the Craig era, and bad enough to evoke memories of the mostly terrible Brosnan period. 160 mins long and fucking feels like it too.

The run and shoot action feels trite after things like John Wick, especially during the final hour. The humor rarely works. I never cared for Bond's central relationship with Seydoux' character, not helped by me remembering nothing from Spectre. Malek's take on the Bond villain is a placeholder. Despite all these massive faults I was never actually bored. Craig always works, the new 007 and a fun de Armas bring some vigour and the movie looks shiny. Give Bond to Edgar Wright or something please.

Hugely disappointing. Was really looking forward to what Fukanaga could bring to this franchise. Apart from a couple visually striking moments within individual set pieces and the heartfelt series-finale feel to the ending, this is unmemorable. I wonder if I'd have enjoyed this more having not rewatched Casino Royale somewhat recently - a film which puts the subsequent four entries to shame.

This thing is really long, eh? I guess they figure most of the audience has a colostomy bag by now. This is probably the best of the Craig saga since it does a good job of tying all the pieces together and hits you decently hard with the emotional beats. Liked the wide shots Fukunaga uses, especially in the chunk of the story in the snow area. The overhead shot where Malek is trudging through the snow dragging his gun is great. Needs more ball whipping scenes tho. Bring back a less serious bond

Poison or nano-bots? They keep calling it poison, and the bad guy is all about poison, but they said it was nano-bots. Why are there pools of acid? Is the poison also an acid? Why are there pools of anything in a nano-bot factory? Didn't the introductory scene show off that the poison nano-bots can be easily aerosolized? What's with the skin-to-skin transmission? These new Bond films are dumb as hell. Pick a theme. Write a coherent plot. Keep character motivations in mind. It shouldn't be hard.

Fukunaga here has the unenviable task of bringing to a close a franchise that many don't want to see end, with a movie that everyone had to wait nearly two years to see. Feels like some... shortcuts were taken here, almost to the point that I think this could have stood to be two movies... except that fans would have rioted. But underexplored characters and narrative shortcuts can't fully dampen this Craig/Bond fan's spirits. Bon voyage, Daniel. And thank you for this tremendous ride as 007.

"Spectre is a solid conclusion..." and along came No Time to Die. As a film, it's very well-made. The action sequences in the 1st half are engaging, balanced with occasional moments of humour and moments of quiet. Then comes the 2nd half with its family drama and ill-justified megalomaniacal plot, and it's a step down but fine. I was more bothered by the CG backdrops in the finale than anything else. Armas was severely underused. Wright was great. Dencik stole every moment he was onscreen.

While not a great Bond film, NTTD serves as a fitting conclusion to the Craig series of movies so your enjoyment level will probably equate to how invested you've been in the plot threads that have tied them all together. Malek is predictably rubbish as a Bond villain and Craig himself looks old so it's fitting this is his last time in the role. The best thing in the entire movie is de Armas who explodes on screen in the short few scenes she is given and is badly missed for the remainder.

No Time to Die subverts from everything we’ve seen from the Bond franchise and in attempt, feels like it suffers an identity crisis. Being it be the convoluted sub plots, weak antagonists, and some very questionable ideology of the Bond character being tested, I can’t help but feel they’re trying too hard to be something they’re not. To Craig fans, I think this is a solid entry, but in the overall scope of things…I’m a little nervous for the OG fans of this long lasting franchise.

The most uneven of the Craig Bonds, and considering the bloated run time, you neither get enough engaging spy action (the plot is painfully straightforward) nor enough particular profound character beats for this send-off. But it's not all bad though, the Cuba sequence felt vibrant and fun, the "Evil Lair" was wonderfully old school and despite what he got to work with here, Craig is arguably the best Bond ever.

I feel like all the action movies lately just want their protagonists to be really great nice men who are a force for good in the world and everyone would be sad to see them go. When you do this Bond, who has always been morally bankrupt, what happens is that all the meat of the plot becomes cloyingly sentimental. This has been the case throughout this iteration of the Franchise, except for maybe Casino Royale.

I enjoyed the cinematography, gorgeous. The plot was actually closer to a proper spy movie than the previous ones, though the main villain had nonsensical motivations. Even though this movie is really good, it doesn't save the Bond character from being revolting. Some old dog womanizer who only likes to drink and chase girls half his age, with no ability for self reflection. They had a chance to fix that, then Madeleine immediately forgave him. Dude's a piece of trash, can't root for him.

There's lots of fun to be had in the 1st half and as a whole, the action is the best in the franchise since Casino Royale. That said, for the third-straight Bond film, this becomes humorlessly serious and self-important in its back-half. I think it still hangs together (mostly because the action beats are so solid), but it's kind of a bummer that we only got two Bond films in the Craig-era that didn't turn into a dirge halfway through (and even worse that one of those two was Quantum of Solace).

SPOILERS!! If not for the moving ending, which I hate (if nothing else, it means a long & fun history is fully gone), this is arguably the best Bond ever. The personal stakes are always high from the start & characterization is more complex (esp M). Blofeld's far more interesting this time (in Spectre he was supposed to be brilliant but did dumb things) & Malek is 1 of the most memorably creepy Bond villains ever (although his motivation remained unclear - what did he mean by "evolve humanity"?)

Craig's Bond knocked it out of the park w/Casino Royale but spends the next few movies facing existential crises and forgettable villains/stakes. Here they add some appreciated callbacks and I agree with the overall direction that his lifetime led to consequences; this is as normal an ending as he could have expected. All the supporting actors did great and are praised elsewhere, but I'll add that Lashana Lynch's Nomi was cool AF and closer to a real life 007. Fav scene: stairway gunfight.

I'm not a fan of OHMSS and this takes major cues from it, I prefer Bond to be escapist and NTtD tries to give him an arc. This happened to a lesser degree in the other Craig films, but here (and in Spectre) it's at the expense of a decent villain - Malek is the second or third-worst in the whole franchise - and the personalization of Bond's crew makes it seem like the UK government is made up of five people. Some great visuals and socially progressive updating of MI6 staff doesn't do enough.

It feels its length, honestly, making it seem murkier than it should have. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the darker take on Bond that we've gotten, but there's no reason that this should be this long. Besides the ending, the section with de Armas was the best, and she was horribly underused. SHE should take over 007. Entertaining action, plot (even if it's stretched thin), etc. but Bond isn't really top of the class anymore. Even still, his end felt earned... so rest easy James.

Good, pacey fun for about two hours. Unfortunately, afterwards there are still around 45 minutes to go, and it drags on, and on to its protracted climax. Rami Malek, with scars and funny accent, is as generic as Bond villains get, and not at all threatening. As with Spectre, an intriguing female character (Bellucci then, de Armas now) is introduced and then exits within minutes. Admittedly, I went into this film already disliking the Bond series. This movie felt like a lazy way to end Craig's run and to espouse conventional aspirations and morality (which is very anti-Bond). Perhaps thanks to lowered expectations, No Time to Die is a welcome surprise. It is not without it's "woke moments" and box-checking contrivances. A weak, ineffectual villain usually spells disaster for any Bond movie, and that's what we have here. Couple that with an increasingly anemic Bond who pines for lost lovers, yearns for tranquility and cares for infants, and you have a movie that renders the character's very existence irrelevant, and watching him sleep walk through the same old fight scenes, car chases, and shootouts has become a bit of a chore. No Time To Die? On the contrary - this seems like an excellent time for Bond to die.

An outstanding capper to Craig's spotty but distinctive run as Bond belongs largely to Fukunaga's gorgeous eye behind the camera and a screenplay which utilises Craig's more complex take on the character to pay off in some surprisingly moving (and haunting) ways. Arguably Malek's villain is not distinctive enough for the prize he ultimately receives, and while the film never feels its 3 hour run time, a lot of superfluous moments are handed to Fiennes and Whishaw; Bond should be a one-man crew!

A little long but potent. A worthwhile end to the franchise with excellent set pieces and visual style directed by Fukunaga. Color grading was beautiful. Rhymed with many previous entries of the Connery and Moore versions. The new 007 mantle could have been whittled down to keep the movie tighter or maybe just to have more of Ana De Armas in it

A lot better than Spectre. The cold open was brilliant classic bond with the Aston Martin with gadgets, scenic winding roads. Didn't get bored at all. The main villain was underdeveloped which let's it down a bit. There's a good emotional weight to the story, the right amount of bond motifs, humour and action. Good send off for Craig.

Better the second time around. The villain is forgettable and the story is routine. But the idea of legacy - both Bond's daughter and the 007 moving on - is well done.

An era that doesn't end in bang. The opening scene was hyping, the cuba scenes too, but the rest simply slowed down and dumbed down into some too long run of the mill wannabe cool thriller. The big bad's plan resembled a Jackie Chan movie (The Tuxedo) with cheesier nanobots. The Scooby Gang working together with Marvel cracks waste screentime away from Bond. By the end, I was so alienated I felt nothing for the shock moment. I've been a Bond fan for 25 years. I rank Moonraker higher.

Serviceable Bond film, though I suppose it should've been more, it being the last of this iteration. But all the usual Bond ingredients are there, with a bit more emotion to keep Bond grounded as he considers his future. Unfortunately, it seems most of Craig's villains have just been moody, broody, and scarred, Malik no exception. Overall, not that much more or less interchangeable with the other Craig films. It's entertaining, but it's the same.

I appreciated what they were trying to do, even though it didn't quite hit the mark. Great action scenes during the first half of the film. Good visuals during the second half. Freddie Mercury didn't really quite sell it, even if everyone else did. Not my favourite bond film (5th or 6th?), but good enough that I'm probably going to spend the year rewatching all the old movies from the beginning.

Why are the enemies of Bond always doing nonsense acts ALL the TIME? What was their motivation after all?

The film seems to have been a really big story line that has been edited down and jumps too much with huge gaps in between. With a running time of two hours and 40 odd minutes you certainly don’t feel like the film drags on however it just seems to leap through major chapters almost as if somebody has created a film after speed reading a book.

Liked the opening sequence and the very end, Cuba was good, rest was not interesting. CG car crashes just don't have any punch to them.

Most beautifully shot movie I've seen to date. Modernized the stereotypical bond plot decently.

Well, I can't say a whole lot to spoil the plot, but I loved this Bond movie. It had it all, plus some things you've never seen.

Visually stunning, great man-to-man combat sequences, excellent exotic locations. The overall tone is uneven, dead serious acting and dialogue, mixed with a few stupid gadgets and car/bike stunts that are so over-the-top they actually look lame. The story could have been written by any 5 year old. During the finale we are treated with an oldskool evil lair, which was cool and silly, but again colliding with the extreme seriousness that surrounds it.

Just another Bond film, but a solid one.
